The Champagne Bar
I went at lunch for a cocktail with a friend, and the woman serving did not know how to make any cocktails. However, instead of telling us this, I was served a martini containing ice, and then after it was sent back I got a warm martini with about half a lemons worth of lemon juice and bits of lemon floating in it. Needless to say, I sent it back. My friend was served a margarita in a martini glass as well.Clearly the bartender hadn't been trained how to make basic cocktails, although this isn't very tricky and a simple instruction book behind the bar would suffice (she was just guessing ratios by looking at the drinks menu).The setting is nice, and cocktails may be great in the evening when served by someone who knows how, but I couldn't recommend anyone to go there for anything more than a Gin & Tonic.

Good service, only Tattenger champagne but it's great. Would go back, such a great atmosphere and Thornbridge beers as a bonus, what's not to like!
