Great company to work for. Plenty of hours work if you're willing to do it. Management looks after you, are understanding and will work with you to suit your needs. Employees are held to high standards and are always professional. Pro-tect UK gets the job done. Good and reliable keyholding service and prices for their various security services. Highly recommended.

Excellent company to work for (seems like a rarity in the security industry) plenty of hours to go at and opportunities available in all aspects of security, management are very responsive when Iv needed to contact them and staff welfare is good. They’re shift manager seems flexible and has been able to work with me when it comes to commitments outside of work. Pay is what’s expected for security within the area which is primarily Cumbria and SW Scotland but they do have sites further afield.Whilst working for them iv been offered several training courses like emergency first aid at work, first aid for mental health, CCTV and counter terror, which all goes well on the old CV.Overall I’m exceptionally happy working for them.

long running company with plenty of work. long shifts, but you need to put the hours in to earn the wages. they dont like unreliability - i got a warning for this at the beginning but all my fault and i learned from it. happy enough though, with regular work., always paid on time.

On Monday the 20th of November I should have started a security course in Preston, Lancashire.Place: The Ribbleton Lodge, 199-201 Ribbleton Ave, Ribbleton, Preston PR2 6RDI am truly disappointed by the training person who was there. I should have asked him about his name but he made me so uncomfortable that I did what I could and just left, as this person should not be there as he obviously picked me up for some reason! He behaved disrespectfully not only with me but also with a person who has dyslexia. He told him that he was over and could go home, but the person said that he had dyslexia and needed more time. Well, he was not given more time. I made a formal complaint as I was treated badly and unfairly.I went today at 9:15 am, as on the induction day last Wednesday I was told that would not be a problem to be there 15 min, or 20 late because I dropped off my child at school. After I went in I was given by him an English assessment. He did not say that there was a timing just threw it in front of me, said 30 questions, that was all. I started filling it and he came after 30 minutes and said the time was up wow. I asked him why, as I was not told about any timing. HE took my assessment when I was on question 21. Even though he had wanted to send me home I had 20 right answers from 21 ...He also first started checking my assessment, next was the guy with dyslexia, and last a dark guy, as I said he picked up on us for some reason. I am sure he meant to send us home and I will tell why in the next paragraphs. My Assessment was changed on purpose and he lied to me about the level of my English!I asked if could go earlier to pick up my child from school while he was marking the assessment, so he told me to wait for a second. When HE came to me with an assessment he said that I could not go forward because of my English level was too low ... and I was sure that could not be true because I have gone through years of learning and I have got a certificate for C-level of English from Cambridge. When I grabbed the assessment I saw it was with a different name on it .... Then I asked him why he lied to me and he apologized and said that he did it by mistake. Next, I found my assessment, it was placed in front of another person.I had 20 points from 21 questions because he did not let me finish all 30 questions, which is Level 2 in his opinion, and who knows how is this grade calculated ! !!! He is not from Oxford, Cambridge, or any legal University...I can speak, write, and read fluently! My level is a minimum 'C' and this is from the FCE exam from Cambridge! He apologized and said that my English was good enough but he could not allow me to leave 2 hours earlier. He said If I wanted I could have booked for the next security course in a few weeks time.Guess what, I will not because I will not pay even one penny to this provider! He deserves nothing! He tried to humiliate me, by putting my pride and years of English learning in the bin... down!I took a picture of my assessment, even though he did not like it because is proof that he cannot go against it.Level 2 ... I am sure my level would be much higher if I was allowed to finish the whole assessment with 30 questions.I am going to enroll in a security course but with a different training provider which does not have these types of people on their staff. He obviously didn't like me because I am not English!I am sure he did it before but fortunately for me, I caught him in a lie.Imagine if I took his words for real and walked away with a my head down. All years of learning and working hard would have been for nothing. The English Assessment was a piece of cake!
