Made contact to trace a persistent leak on a flat roof that others had failed to find - came back quickly - booked an appointment within a week and came round to do a very thorough job investigating all possibilities before providing an on site review and conclusion followed up by a written report with supporting evidence and photographs with advice on remedial measures needed - were here for 4+ hours investigating and finding the sources of the leak

My boiler was losing pressure and required topping up several times a day. Boiler engineers were convinced I had a leak and they’d need to source it by tearing up my laminate flooring.I recruited the services of Maystone as an alternative to detect any leaks. Their communication was excellent from the outset. Phil came at the time agreed (punctually) and respected my home from the outset, wearing overshoes when indoors. He gave me confidence in his abilities from the outset and kept me informed throughout the thorough leak investigation. As it transpired (and as he had suspected) - there was no leak! Flooring saved, insurance hassles saved, massive headache saved (not to mention £££’s!). Top and bottom, issue with my boiler has been resolved and I have no leak. Excellent service from a professional outfit. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Phil from Maystone was brilliant. He spent a couple of hours tracing the source of the leak. Once the non-destuctive tracing was compleated, Phil carefully removed part ot the stone wall to acess the pipe. We worked out that the leak was a private spring water main passing through my property. With some discussions with my neighbours, the leak was isolated through a stop valve in a neighbours house. The leak detection report provided details the process undertaken and the conclusion along with photographs of the process. I can now get a plumber to fix the pipe without any further damage to my property. Phil was very pleasant, professional and clearly enjoys his work, It was great to see the process and ultimately get the problem sorted.

I can't express how pleased we were in getting Phil out from Maystone. It was a fairly taxing leak trace and detect exercise, but he got there for us.Totally professional, knowledgeable and an expert in his field. I would highly recommend this company.

I had a significant leak in my ground floor central heating pipes which were buried (somewhere!) in a concrete floor. Phil attended and using acoustic monitoring followed up with gas injection/detection found where he thought the problem lay. A couple of quarry tiles were taken up and some floor chiselled out and water could be seen escaping. Another couple of tiles were lifted and the leaking pipe was exposed. Very impressed with Phil's work and can't see how this could have been sorted any other way, short of major re-plumbing. A comprehensive report arrived the following day.
