Horrendous company to deal with. Charge in excess of £30 for paper letters they send out. Direct debit changes have to be done through the post... in 2018!? These guys are pirates so before you consider getting a Vauxhall on finance. Check out bank loan alternatives. Would not recommend GMAC to anyone.

I have called this company 19 times and have been on hold for a total of at least two hours this week because I want to make a partial settlement on my car. I finally spoke to someone but after five minutes GMAC ENDED MY CALL and an automated message told me to hang up.I emailed the company on Wednesday to complain and I've not even had an automated acknowledgement of my complaint. This company is HORRENDOUS and I am never buying a Vauxhall again... Which is SUCH A SHAME because I actually really like my car.

Rang GMAC to change my first payment date from the 15th of the month to the 1st. Advisor did this and advised first payment would be taken 1st.Waited till around the 10th nothing was taken so presumed the 1st payment would be taken the 15th. It was not and I received a collections letter advising I had not made my first payment. I called and made the payment immediately and was told this would not affect my credit rating. Logged on today and it has also after a discussion with colleagues I am now aware that every missed payment is noted on your credit file and goes against you very very unhappy client after being misled and lied to.

Wish I could give them 0 stars! Words can't describe how annoyed I am. Got a car on finance with them, tried to set up a direct debit EVERY SINGLE MONTH since then and they are just too incompetent to set it up apparently. So every month I wait a few days to see if the direct debit is finally set up (which it never is), go to pay for the car online in the end (because I don't always have the option to call them thanks to their stupid opening hours) and STILL continue to get phone calls about missed payments because - guess what - their online system doesn't work properly or they can't be arsed to review it online (it's usually the latter), which quite honeslty I couldn't care less about. Honeslty - DO NOT go with them. Even if you pay for your car every month I can ensure you you will still have issues. If you do/don't have an option make sure you print out your payment authentication codes and bank statements for every payment you make.

I made a complaint and explained the issue at least 3 times on the phone, but when I received my resolution" letter around 2 months later

Something wrong with this Co. They’d blended some insurance thing (Gap?) in with my car sale on the agreement, but wouldn’t give me details. Said I had to go back to the dealer. I’d already tried that. Complete stitch up. Use your bank to finance your car!

£400 admin fee" to hand the car back at the end of its lease

Faultless Aundre was so helpful as I have had issues with my dealer. Advised against taking my car to the dealer again.

Absolutely useless, was on hold for 45 minutes, and what was more annoying is the mans voice popping up after every 20 seconds to apologise for being on hold, they dont have a number or website on Google. Worst company I've ever dealt with. Should be closed down!

This company is the worst ever company in the history of mankind. The most pathetic and disrupting, distressing organisation that threatens you for making payments and sends invoices to threaten you. We are living in the 21st Century and this company makes you feel your imprisoned. I would never deal with this company again. The Vauxhall car I bought has given me life on hell and the depreciation rate is horrendous. I would never recommend this dirty GMAC company and the operators are like evil disgusting snakes from hell. Keep away from them!
