Enjoyed the afternoon tea set at The Wolseley. Service was good although the restaurant was full so it was a bit slow at times in terms of refills of tea and sandwiches. The sandwiches were good, some edges on the bread were slightly dry - perhaps out for too long but the sweets were nice. There were options of egg, pickles and cheese, salmon and cream cheese, coronation chicken to name a few. There was a good mix of fruit and chocolate cakes. The scones were definitely the highlight. They were delicious and fresh and the jam and clotted cream was also wonderful. Priced at £40pp for the non alcoholic option, would recommend for a treat or a special afternoon out in central London

Visited this restaurant for my birthday recently. The good was delicious, ambience was good and service was excellent and as if nothing was too much of an ask. I would certainly recommend and would return. However, I do not think the quality is such that truly reflects the price and there is soom for improvement. So, be mindful of the London prices. All in all, very good!

We had afternoon tea here after being this place being highly rated. The atmosphere is amazing if you’re looking for a posh old school place to have a classic afternoon tea. Was a bit disappointed with the sandwiches and scones. The tea was good but the overall experience was probably not worth 55 pounds for the package with a glass of champagne. I would suggest to look elsewhere for the afternoon tea experience at a better price. They didn’t replenish any of our sweets, sandwiches or scones.

Wonderful early dinner before the theatre. Everything was delicious, with particular highlights the kedgeree and the fishcakes Arlington. Service was impeccable and the elegant dining room put you in the mood for a top class experience. For the quality of the food and the service, not to mention the location, I would say their prices are fair. We can’t wait to return and try the many other things on the menu that sounded delicious. Thank you for the lovely birthday surprise too (pictured here).

The afternoon tea is wonderful. The atmosphere is nice and the staff provide good service. The scones are delicious, the sandwiches are tasty and more can be brought on request and the cake selection is good. The only downside with the cakes is, they only bring one of everything; so if you want to try it all, you must share. The tea selection is also nice. Overall, The Wolseley is an excellent afternoon tea experience.

Great and beautiful ambience but the sandwiches and pastries served were not worth the money that we paid. Scones were delicious though. The sandwiches were filled with too much cream cheese and everything tasted sweet instead of savoury. Paid more than a hundred pounds for two persons but the quality of the food were sub par. We didn’t finish it.

Great afternoon tea experience. It is quite loud so it may be hard to hear your table at times. Thought that service could be better, but it’s still good. Scones, cakes, and sandwiches were all good. I did see a few tables not finishing their cakes and sandwiches which was a bit surprising…
