Waited a week for my glass, it was no communication of the company. no email or phone call to say it’s been dispatched. Beware of paying for next day delivery. Sent by Royal Mail second class. Will not be dealing with this company again.

We ordered a replacement glass for our woodburner as the last one had cracked. We have an old woodburner and weren't sure if we could replace the glass easily but Stove glass ltd had our model number in stock and it was really easy to order. The price was less than on some other sites and the part was sent within a couple of days. Very Good service. They even included a little card to enable us to record the Make, model and size of the glass so that we could remember at a later date if we should need to order anything again.

Terrible customer service. I ordered glass for a Portway 2 stove. I couldn’t see any dimensions, but must have missed them (that’s my fault). I emailed straight away to ask for the dimensions and after receiving them I realised there is no way it would fit a Portway 2 stove.Be careful when selecting your stove from the drop down, always check the dimensions as they may not match your actual stove dimensions. I emailed back to say the dimensions do not match a Portway 2, only to receive an abrupt response saying I should have checked the dimensions, as the website says. A little customer service wouldn’t have gone a miss, or a little compassion and understanding. I understood I was not entitled to a refund, as it was my error, but the company could have at least held off from dispatching the item until my query was resolved. Especially, as they were aware of my email requesting the dimensions and querying the size discrepancies. There is no interest in trying to help you, they will happily take your money then allow Ellen (an employee there) to send abrupt emails to anyone that has an issue they try to raise.

Of the four companies I made contact with, trying to find a replacement piece of glass for my multi fuel burner, R,S,G were the only company to respond and quite frankly, I'm happy with that, brilliant hassle free service, would recommend
