Got a knock on the door in June 2023 it was a debt collector who informed me that water plus had put me in court without even informing me the court judgement went in water plus,s favour and I was handed a bill for just over £13,000 I had 24 hours to pay it or it would go back to court and I would be declared bankrupt I had no alternative but to pay the bill. Not a company I would recommend to anyone total sharks and they are getting away with it

This company is a disaster! They don't listen, they don't have customer care. They are charging me £1400 for 25m3 of water I have used. Nobody knows what to do, or how to manage a change in an account. Useless! Avoid them!

All of a sudden I have received a bill for £297 saying I cancelled my DD which I did not...no payment was taken Sept then double was taken Oct which was when I realised something was wrong...lo and behold another payment of a larger amount just been taken so obviously no DD was cancelled. After talking to a representative over the phone he was reading off his screen that I need to set up a new DD and clear the debit and everything will be OK...I said I'm not changing anything with you as you are clearly lying to me and I want to get to the bottom of the letters sent saying I'm in debt to them as there isnt enough funds i asked how they know that and its absolute rubbish..all very strange.Looking to change companies as do not like being lied to.

I want to share my experience with utmost transparency. Unfortunately, I did not receive any notifications regarding a change in the billing period. Adding to this, I have not been in receipt of invoices or any notifications related to invoicing. Consequently, I continued to operate under the assumption that my billing period remained quarterly and accordingly made payments as such.To my astonishment, I discovered a late payment fee affixed to my account. Promptly, I reached out via phone to provide an explanation of the situation. However, I find myself in a position where the late payment fee remains unaltered on my account. From my perspective, I have diligently maintained a quarterly payment schedule. It is regrettable that a mere £40 has translated into what I can only perceive as a lack of respect for customers. Such an occurrence is saddening, especially given the emphasis placed on customer relations.

After 2 years of being in a property and paying all my bills through my landlord I started to get letter after letter of invoices for thousands of pounds from water plus who had created an account in my name without permission saying I owed them money for surface water drainage. (Rainwater)The bill is now apparently £8000 which seems absolutely ridiculous for rainwater.I’ve tried to dispute it as it seems so unfair and unreasonable for them to do this to a small business trying to recover from covid and in the midst of a cost of living crisisThey are refusing to set up an affordable payment plan… unless I pay £2000 a month to clear the debt for RAIN WATERCompanies like this RUIN small businesses and they literally don’t care. They use bullying tactics aswell. They have now passed the debt on to another company called engage debt management who are threatening to turn my water supply off unless I pay £8000 up front even though the bill is for surface water not water usage as that has been paid through my landlord. What small business has £8000 to pay for something like this.I hope this company is investigated and dealt with for the misery they cause people

If you ever see a letter with WaterPlus on it, immediately ring to cancel and run far away as possible from this company! They send unexpected bills for ridiculous amounts and then have to go through whole debt collecting, complaints, appeal scenarios to override. They're nothing but opportunists preying on small businesses.NEVER EVER USE WATERPLUS!

** Update, despite making a complaint nearlyv2 weeks ago to the customer service email given, no one has contacted us.We have spoken to various customer service and sales representatives and each time we get a different response. Why has our direct debit been cancelled without our knowing why are we over £300 in debt and why has our overall monthly figure increased despite less usage?Without notice our direct debit has been cancelled due to our monthly payment not covering our usage since April! and now apparently we are over £300 in debt.No one can tell us why it has gone up or why we weren't informed and when we asked if we could make a formal complaint we were told not at the moment!

Warning , Do not ever do business with Water plus.I have been in a dispute with them for the last 3 years as they are trying to charge me for my neighbours bill, even when have have emailed with confirmation that we have nothing to do with the unit they are charging me for. The bill is now upto 2k and still after 3 years they are pushing me for payment, I have had hours of phone calls and back and forth emails yet this nothing gets done. It no doubt will all end up in court now which will hopefully end the nightmare for me that is Waterplus.I urge anyone who uses waterplus to check their bills throughly .This is the worst company I have ever dealt with in business.RegardsAGC Fabrications Limited

Trying to bill me for £254 but has never invoiced me even though, Iclosed my account down with them over 12 months ago.Received a debt collection letter… how can a debt collector send me a letter but I can’t get any copies of my invoices??Once I’ve seen the invoices of the money they claim I owe, I know where I stand.I’m currently on hold to them speaking to the fourth person to get this fixed.. no one has any ideas of what I’m talking about!!They also tried billing me for a property I hadn’t even moved into!? So I have very little faith.STAY AWAY!!

Every month I pay my bill as soon as I receive an invoice which is usually about £82-83 per month however the bill for this month came and I had an invoice for £714. I had rang up water plus and I was on the phone with one of their employees for half an hour and keeps telling me to use a payment plan of direct debit and said that this money is from a system error that had occurred last year. The thing is this is not my problem nor am I at fault so why should I have to suffer when I have no clue where I am meant to pay this from. If the issue had occurred from my side then I would understand even if they charged me extra but I'm not at fault so why should I suffer?
