Bournemouth Bridal Hair and Makeup

I had a wonderful experience working with Mel for my wedding hair and make up and am completely thankful to her for making me, my mum and my bridesmaids feel so beautiful (along with Sally from Blushing Brides Hairstyling and makeup). Mel really listened to all the requests of each person and their make up preferences as we all wanted something different, so a massive thankyou to Mel for this! Not only is Mel absolutely amazing at hair and make up, she was also able to help sew a button back on to my dress within minutes of me walking down the isle and stopped me from freaking out! I couldn't have chosen a better person to help me getting ready for my day!

Had a brilliant morning on the day of my sons wedding with Mel (and the lovely Nicola helping out) having my hair and make up done, along with 2 other wedding guests and my grandaughter who was a flower girl. Mel made me feel instantly relaxed, her bubbly nature calmed any pre wedding nerves! I couldn’t recommend anyone more, she was brilliant. I loved my hair and makeup at the trial but somehow on my wedding day it was even better than I could have imagined, my bridesmaids looked beautiful and my mum looked so youthful! Mel (and her assistant Sally) were absolutely brilliant! They were so calm and friendly on the morning of my wedding, keeping everyone on track with timings and they worked so hard for hours to get me, my mum, and 3 bridesmaids ready for the wedding at 12. My trial was really useful and Mel took on all my feedback about exactly what I wanted and executed it perfectly on the day. I normally wear no make up but she found a way to make me feel comfortable with it, a really lovely and natural look. I was thrilled with both my hair and make up on the day and it lasted til midnight. Thank you SO much, Mel! I’m so glad I found you and chose you for my wedding. I really recommend Mel if you’re looking for the perfect person for your wedding day ❤️

Mel did my hair for my wedding day as well as my mum, 4 bridesmaids & flower girl. There is so much choice when trying to choose who to book for wedding hair, but I'm honestly so pleased I found her! Since I had my trial appointment she was always just a message away if I ever needed her to help me choose my hair accessories or any other questions I had. Not only is she so so talented - all of our hair looked amazing and I felt so pretty, which is obviously exactly how you want to feel on your wedding day! But also Mel is such a genuine, lovely lady and really cares - it was like having another friend with us on the morning of the wedding helping us get ready. Totally put me at ease when the nerves started kicking in! She also worked really well with the lady doing our make up, making sure everything ran smoothly and we were all ready on time.Highly recommend! ❤️

Mel was amazing from beginning to end! I woke up on the morning of my wedding with my eyelashes glued together after a disaster at a different salon the day before. Mel was super calm and reassuring and managed to fix my lashes and make me feel amazing.I can't recommend her enough!

Mel has a very warm and welcoming personality which instantly put me at ease. I went to my trail with a vague idea of how I wanted my wedding hair & make up (not being someone who wears make up day to day), Mel absolutely read my vision correctly with natural make up and curled hair.Mel stayed in contact between the trail and my wedding day in case I thought of any changes I’d like.When the day of the wedding came, it was so lovely to have someone who naturally slotted into the morning. Everyone loved the experience, I had family and friends come and go as people got ready and Mel went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect.I felt beautiful and I’m so happy I chose Mel.

I couldn't recommend Mel enough! She was wonderful from the beginning. She was warming and I felt instantly relaxed when I went for my hair trial and I was glad with my decision! As for the wedding morning, she helped with the pre-wedding nerves, chatty nature and got on well with the whole wedding party. With help from a friend Mel styled 7 adults and 1 child hair on the wedding morning with no stress! Anyone looking for a relaxed hair stylist I would 100% recommend Mel.
