Chilworth Kennels and Cattery

I cannot thank Victoria enough for all her help, this is a first class service full of understanding abd care for pets. Bella and Austin love their time there. Thank you for all you do, I definitely recommend this place, 100%.

Recently our two elderly Springer Spaniels boarded here again for two weeks. We have regularly used Chilworth kennels and our dogs are always looked after really well. Their last stay involved a lot of medication and the staff were only too pleased to help during their stay. Also now with their Facebook page, we received regular updates during their stay which was wonderful. Can’t recommend them highly enough and will definitely be using them again in the future.

The first time we left our dogs there was the first time they have ever been in kennels but the staff are amazing and sent us photos and answered us straight away when we asked how they were doing. Our dogs loved being there and have just gone for their second stay and again they had a lovely time

This is the third visit to the kennels and the fact that our dog is happy and excited to go in, is all I need to know.

Couldn’t recommend this kennels and cattery enough. I had a family emergency and had to board my dog and cat while I was away. It was a stressful time for me and the staff were so helpful and friendly and kept me informed on how they were getting on. Thankyou

We were very impressed with the kennels. The lady was very friendly and caring. They gave our dog a bath before we collected him too. Highly recommended and going to use the kennels again.

Our three dogs stayed here for two weeks in September 2023. We’ve just got them home and I’ve never seen them so happy after we’ve been away! They clearly loved it and we’ll definitely be using them again next year when we go away. Thank you!

We have been using Chilworth Kennels for over 6 years now and I cannot recommend them highly enough. We have a rescue Standard Schnauzer (Dudley) and he has various anxiety issues but the whole team here are literally amazing with him. Every time we return they remember his needs and he just gets so excited when he knows we’re driving down the track to the kennels. I can’t thank them enough especially Vic who Dudley absolutely loves!

Our rescue dog Bailey spent just over a week here. I was anxious about her being away but immediately felt at ease when I dropped her off. The staff are so friendly, accommodating and professional. The site looks clean and there is lots of space (it’s also very easy to find for a first timer with google maps and the sign posts), but most importantly Bailey looked clean, healthy and happy when I went to collect her today!

We sent our 2 dogs to these kennels. NEVER EVER again! After 3 days we had a call to say 1 of our dogs had an issue with her eye. We were initially very pleased that the young girl, Kirsty, had contacted us as she sent us some photos too so we could see exactly what was happening. She was clearly very concerned about our dog . However, They wanted us to come back from our holiday to take her to the vets! We managed to get a family member to take her. While the young girl, Kirsty,who rang us was right to notify us she needed to go as our dog had an ulcer on her eye & she could’ve lost her eye if she hadn’t gone, when our family member tried to return our dog to the kennels she was originally told our dog couldn’t come in as she wasn’t booked in! It was the owner who didn’t have a clue! Surely they have a log of how many dogs they have & if any pets have gone to the vets! Our dog needed urgent medications day but our family member rang us to say you’d better ring tomorrow to make sure they’re giving the meds as they didn’t feel confident that the owner was paying attention. On collecting the dogs on our return they both stank of urine so we had to bath them as soon as we got home. I’m guessing the blankets we had sent in with the dogs also stank of urine as they had clearly been washed as smelt of cheap washing powder. I would NOT recommend anyone to send their pets here.
