Beesley & Fildes Ltd - Radcliffe

I ordered some bulk gravel and was advised last week that my delivery would be yesterday. The team called me early morning to check exactly when I needed it as their delivery had not arrived on time. They kept in contact with me all day trying to get the gravel to me yesterday, it got to gone 5pm and it still hadn't arrived and they promised me delivery today. It has arrived today. Although it was late, it didn't matter to me in the end because the customer service was exceptional and one of the best I have experienced. Big shout out to John and the lads for trying their best to get it to me when I wanted it and calling me many times yesterday. Thank you

Ordered some skirting and architrave, the architrave turned up damaged and the skirting board was all the wrong thickness, ordered 15mm but 18mm arrived. Customer service was terrible never received a refund or any sympathy just told that it was my job to measure each and every piece after it arrives and then they stopped contacting me. Will use another timber merchants in future, AVOID!

4 weeks ago I tried to purchase some skirting board from Beesley and Fildes at Radcliffe. I gave them the product code from the website, they had it at Widnes and would get it for me. A week later I rang again and they said they had it in stock. I called at the depot and found it to be the wrong type, they said the driver had picked up the wrong item, I gave them a sample and waited another week, on calling at the depot they did not have it in stock and used the reason to being that the truck had had an accident. They would get it and deliver it to me. After a week and another phone call it was delivered, again it was the wrong type. I rang them , they said they would collect it and deliver the correct item, after another week they have not collected it and I have not heard a word from them. The correct skirting board has now been supplied.

Can I just say how efficient this company is i have ordered various items off them and can't praise them enough from the staff in the office to the delivery drivers. i would highly recommend them to anyone who is thinking of buying any building materials.

i have used this place twice now and on both occasions, I have been treated like a real customer. All the staff that I have met have been pleasant and cheerful and willing to help you find what you need. Your management should be proud to have such great staff Well done

I can’t thank the guys enough at Beesley’s Radcliffe for their help. Nothing was too much for them. Yes I am a very impatient person and wanted things done yesterday. These guys went above and beyond to have the materials delivered as soon as possible. They were so flexible and worked things around me. Thank you so much. I wouldn’t buy from anywhere else. 5 stars from me!

Didn't at first give Beasley's too much thought as a source for a sizable ( too me ) order for my garden makeover, mainly because their site only quotes 500+ pack sizes for brick, I only needed 180, plus other materials, and not honestly having much luck on their web ordering pages, I went into my local branch, Radcliffe Builders to me, and the service was 1st class, I got my 180 brick order in, plus the cost was £30 cheaper than Wickes, with a promise of delivery in 6 days, extremely good seeing as I am aware that with it being Easter and everyone seems to be getting jobs done. Full Mark's and a well deserved 5 star rating from me.I had for the last 5 days attempted to the same order from Wickes each time failing to get a delivery slot. Now rather pleased I couldn't.P.S. I you like me couldn't get their web page to cooperate, nip into the local branch. The service is excellent, at least in Radcliffe.

4 star for excellent swinton branch who are NOT MY LOCAL branch. Radcliffe is my local branch but staff there stuck in 1970 customer service .Waited at Radcliffe counter for 5 minutes despite about 5 staff members behind the glass partition just chatting away and ignoring customer. When I did get served I bought some patio flags and drove into yard to collect only to be told they were out of stock. Back to counter ...no apologies just more wasted time waiting for refund. Drove 8 miles to Swinton .Staff friendly polite and items were in stock and helped load car up ...Well done Swinton ..my local Radcliffe branch need urgent cs training .
