Had 4 windows replaced by GM Windows.This was a difficult job due to height and the architecture of the windows.Was brilliantly executed by Satti and Ian!Thoroughly cleaned up afterwards.Definitely 5 stars ⭐️

In the interests of balance I'm going to point out that we went with GM due to a recommendation from my father-in-law, so I know that our experience isn't necessarily everyone's experience. I'm also going to point out that we asked if we could change part of the order after ordering it. Now we were told this would be absolutely no problem, but I suspect it contributed to what ended up being an absolutely terrible experience of this company.We ordered a new composite door and window unit. The change in order came when my wife asked if the fixtures (consisting of a letterbox, door knocker and nightlatch) could be changed from gold to black. As I've said she was told this wasn't a problem.The first red flag was in the way they messed us around in terms of installation date, constantly shifting when it was going to be and not turning up one day as agreed.When they finally arrived the door was without the door knocker and nightlatch and had the wrong glazing installed. The paint finish on parts of both the door and window weren't of great quality with the spray failing to completely cover some corner areas leaving a white patch. They also scuffed the door and frame in several places in transport or installation.According to my wife they tried to claim to her that the glazing was wrong due to me calling them up to change the order without her knowledge which was a complete and total lie. They subsequently agreed to change the glazing and said not to worry about the other stuff as they'd come back out to sort it.We'd paid a deposit by this point and after the installers left their office immediately started hounding my wife for the remaining money despite the order not being correctly fulfilled. My wife agreed to pay most of the money owed but kept back several hundred until the issues were rectified.They came out and swapped the glazing for the correct panes and brought a door knocker which they drilled into the door without care - if wasn't fully straight. They told us that the nightlatch they'd ordered was too big for the door and they might not be able to source one to fit but they'd have another look. I agreed with them that we'd just forget it if they couldn't source one.I looked online myself that night and found one that appeared to be suitable in terms of measurements. I messaged our contact at GM and asked if it would be suitable. He replied saying he'd ordered it and that it was the same make as the one he'd originally attempted to go with.They came out to fit the nightlatch but in my opinion made a mess of it - they installed it too far over and this meant the key hole fell underneath the door frame, which it pushed against whenever you closed the door, damaging the seal and frame in the process.Despite this, as soon as this work had been done their office started hounding us for the remaining money. I complained and sent photos of all of the issues. I was then met initially with a wall of silence until i chased up with our main contact and followed up with a formal emailed complaint to the office. They eventually agreed to come and look at the issues.They came and swapped the washer for the nightlatch keyhole for a thinner one and then said that all the scuffs and marks on the door were just dirt/dust which they'd managed to wipe away simply with a cloth. I am not sure what theyd done as it looked to me as though these scuffs had gone (but see below) The nightlatch barrel was at an angle however so they agreed to readjust it so it was straight.I expressed that I still wasn't happy with how it looked but that it was what it was.However the new washer isn't strong enough to keep the nightlatch barrel in place and it has started to move to an angle again. Meanwhile whatever they put on over the scuffs to try and pull the wool over my eyes got washed off in the recent rainstorm and are there for all to see.Their response was that basically all the problems are our fault and there's nothing they can do. We are going to replace the brand new £1500 door via a different firm.

Really good experience from GM Windows. I purchased windows and a door and they were competitive with a fab service. The customer service was first class from start to finish, rectifying any issues found along the way straight away. Would definitely recommend.

Had my windows and door installed and received excellent workmanship and customer service. Installers were fantastic got me to check all parts of installation which was fitted to high standards. Highly recommend GM Windows my family and I have been using these guys for many years and they have always excelled. Many thanks to Mani and the team keep up the good work!

Very helpful. Thr window cleaner had been a bit too vigorous with my pvc front door and knocked off one of the caps that sit at the bottom of the door and GM provided free replacements with a smile even though door installed 5 years ago ☺️ it's the little things...

Got my windows fitted last year I thought il wait before writing a review to see if any issues with my window or fitting, everything is spot on from the cheap quote to the service provided, I would definitely recommend these guys, I will definitely use again

Fitted top quality glass acoustic windows to stop road noise and a new composite door. Also added really nice internal window trims.I would highly recommend.

So leaving reviews isn't my thing but it's time others looking for quality windows and doors should stop by and try out GM Windows. I've used them for a number of years and I'm not aware of any of local manufacturer that makes a true, triple glazed unit. Installed correctly the improvement to the passage of sound and heat is amazing. Strongly suggest you get your measurements and go across and meet the team. Oh and there's free tea and coffee.
