Salon One

Just had my first visit to Salon One and it was very relaxing, the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Gabby removed my acrylic overlays and painted my nails with builder gel and polish and I love the result. I will be back! Thanks ladies for an enjoyable afternoon.5 * all round.

First time having my nails and hair done here on a Groupon deal and so pleased I did, I felt welcomed and relaxed from start to finish. Becca done my fingernails and toenails which I love. Beth done my hair and really listened to what I wanted and cut my hair the best it's ever been cut. I will definitely be back and can't recommend enough. Five stars for service haircut nails and welcome. See you are my holiday ladies xx

Great service, Keeley is a new member of staff in training and did a great pedicure. Very friendly and the staff in general are brilliant. I've not been able to visit since Feb and it was like no time had passed. Quality people and highly recommend their services. You're doing great ladies, keep it up!

The best salon that I have ever had the pleasure of going to. I trust Becca and the girls with all of my beauty needs. I've had botox, lip filler, nails, lash lift, eyebrow wax, hair colouring, cutting and styling and taken my girls for children's nail art and every single session has been amazing. Friendly staff that actually care, a lovely welcoming atmosphere and incredible range of services that are always completed to an extraordinary standard. I honestly can't recommend the salon highly enough and will never go to another. Thank you to everyone that works there you are all amazing

Beth cut off my hair for Princess Trust over a year ago and gave me a complete restyle with shorter hair. She is now the only one I will use for my hair colour and cut - absolute babe and has me laughing every time I go.Also wouldn't go anywhere else when I get acrylics. Brogan and Becca always create the most amazing nails and make the whole experience a joy.Wonderful girls.

I had been to the salon when it was the previous owners and had a good experience so decided to have my hair cut again with the new salon as Salon One. Although the ladies seemed lovely, my disappointment started when I could feel the lady putting large amounts of shampoo and conditioner (whether there was anything else at all) to wash it. I sat down at the chair after and couldn’t believe how heavy and greasy it felt with all the products not being washed out properly! I made sure to be very clear to the hairdresser exactly what I was after and said I wanted a shorter side fringe put back in with it feathering down the front. I tried the best I could to explain over and over that I wanted it feathering down more and more as she practically cut it almost into a block on the side instead. I was supposed to go out after and luckily I live local so had to go home after and salvage it myself and feather it down at an angle (as most side fringes go) as I couldn’t go out like that! However, the final straw was when I went to the till to pay I was told instead of the £36 that I was quoted, it was actually £45 as I had a ‘re-style’ when all I had was loads of hair cut off and my fringe cut back again which I thought was outrageous! Needless to say I won’t be going back...Shortly after I posted my review, I was asked to contact the salon who offered to re-cut my fringe and they would give me a hair mask to resolve the issue. They asked me to remove the review once I had this done. However, I said I was happy to amend the review to be a positive one but didn’t want to remove it as this is a true reflection of my experience and didn’t want to completely hide the truth. Although I was more than happy to amend my review once I’d been in again to reflect a positive outcome after they had given me a better experience, they were not happy with this and insisted I amend the review before they did my hair again or they just wouldn’t do it for me and that I was the only person who had posted a negative review! Based on this I am disgusted at the lack of customer service and the lack of care Salon One has taken to resolve the issue for an even unhappier customer now! Will definitely not be going back and it’s a shame they would take the decision to hide these truthful experiences other customers may have to face.

Becca and her team are always upbeat and welcoming, I love coming here to get my hair and nails done, fantastic choice of nail colours, they are always on top form with hair and there are beauty treatments to be had too. A fantastic place. Started going here when I'd never been to a salon before in my life, they made me feel so comfortable and now you will find me in there all the time. Everyone is so lovely and the vibe is like a girls sleepover! All the girls are so hard working and will always go above and beyond for their customers. They really make you feel like family. Cannot recommend enough, if you're looking for a skilled Salon where you can properly relax and have some time away from your busy life, this is the place to go. Thank you to all the girls who are all so incredible.
