Professor Douglas, Consultant Neurologist

Following an MRI scan I had a telephone consultation booked with Professor Douglas. ( it was a telephone consultation due to the fact the UK was in the middle of lockdown)Via his secretary, Professional Douglas brought the consultation forward a few days.During our call Professor Douglas identified some irregularities with my scan, despite it being a phone call Professor Douglas shared some images via FaceTime so I could understand the position more. Throughout the call Professor Douglas was professional, calm, informative and reassuring, he also spent enough time on the call to ensure I was clear and understood implications of the scan.Following the call Professor Douglas made an immediate referral to The Queen Elizabeth Hospital where I was seen the next day.as a result of Professor Douglas’s prompt action, and the action of the team at the QE, I am now recovering from surgery and starting to get my life back to normality, I am very grateful for the speed and clarity with which Professor Douglas dealt with the situation and would have no hesitation in using him again or referring others to him.
