Universal Marquees

I am reliably informed that this company made an event which we attended called PirateMania less good than it should have been by not supplying a marquee as ordered and months later not refunding for services not supplied. The event was still great but this was no thanks to Universal Marquees.

We’ve used Universal three times in the last five years and each time the service has been outstanding. Their prices are highly competitive, the quality and sturdiness of marquees and fittings excellent, and they provide very good advice. On each occasion the riggers have been efficient, considerate and polite. Absolutely first rate, I wouldn’t consider going elsewhere.

Universal Marquees Taunton were paid well in advance to provide a marquee for a large gathering of us in Cheddar at the end of July 2017. On the Thursday morning when they were due to arrive and erect it they called saying they were stuck on Exmoor and couldn't come. That was their excuse for not coming on the Friday too. They agreed to erect it on the Saturday morning for the main event but on the Saturday morning called saying they couldn't get there until 11am and as it took 4 hours to put up they were told it wasn't worth them coming as the event started at 10am. They promised a refund. Here we are 4 months later still trying to get our money refunded and repeatedly being fobbed off! Avoid these cowboys like the plague.

Look no further. We were let down at the last minute by another company. I called this company at 7.30 and they bent over backwards to save an 18th birthday party and had a marquee up for us by late afternoon. I can not recommend them enough.

This company was hired and paid well in advance of a 4 day event to provide a marquee. They gave loads of excuses to the committee and promised a refund which they have still not provided!Stay clear of these cowboys!

We highly recommend Universal Marquees who recently and at very short notice were able to supply marquee sides to enable a charity event to survive the sudden change in weather conditions. Not only did we find both Zila and Scott very helpful but also the staff were brilliant .. as an emergency call at short notice they even waived their charges in support of a national charity ... well done Universal ... and thank you.

This company were a joy to work with from the start.Both Scott and Zilla were professional and friendly in discussing our requirements. Being very thorough in their planning of our event, organising everything we needed to make our special day even more special. The marquee was put up in good time with minimum disruption.I would have no reservations in highly recommending Universal Marquees.

We needed a marquee for our daughters birthday last minute as the weather turned ! They did it last minute and it all looked so pretty decorated lovely. Very helpful , reliable and looked amazing. Thank you. Will use again

Your slagon: “wherever you are - we will be there!” Or “Outstanding in your field!” Really?? You were paid well in advance to erect a marquee in Cheddar at the end of July 2017 for Piratemania 10. You never supplied the goods and service! And the organisers to this date are still waiting for their promised refund. Shambles! Don’t use these cowboys! They certainly were not outstanding in our Pirate field in Cheddar!
