Welvan

Where do I start. It seemed that to begin with these people were being helpful with the purchase of our new home, however the seller was making it difficult, forgetting to book appointments for evaluation and didn't have a property they were trying to move to buy. We offered welvan/seller the chance to remain in the property after the sale for 2 months so they could find new accommodation. The seller and welvan wanted me to sign a contract allowing the seller to remain in the property indefinitely until they found a house they wanted and nothing else short of that. In what real world does a seller put a house on the market and expect to remain in the property and get the estate agents to back him up which they did. A house for sale is to be sold not for the seller to pocket £130k and keep the house. I found this approach from welvan laughable that they could even think to suggest this despite us allowing the seller up to two months after the sale to stay there.They were also rude to me about me discussing my possible purchase of this house to friends and family and told me I am not to discuss or involve anyone else on this... So I'm not sure if they are actually estate agents or adult minders here but I sure didn't appreciate being spoken to like a child by Sian.No return of calls unless it was to give bad news or grill me for something they didn't like. Rearranged appointments for viewing the house 3 times. Miscommunicated important information between myself, mortgage lenders and the seller and whenever it was their or the sellers fault tried to pass the blame on to the people and parties I had instructed on my behalf to help with the sale.I would of loved for this sale to have worked out but these are very unprofessional people and it seems I'm not the only one by reading the comments who've got the same opinion. Will not recommend at all.

Had a phone call from Howard, who provided a valuation for the property, and because I arranged a sale with a private buyer who was NOT introduced to me by Howard or Welvan, Howard was abusive, swearing and extremely angry during that call.I have never experienced such a disgraceful and disgusting customer experience which was extremely close to becoming a police matter.Welvan does NOT deserve any customers if that is considered acceptable behaviour from this estate agent.

Welvan efficiently managed a rental property for me for many years. Eventually, I wanted to sell the property and discussed this with Howard and Sian. The house was sold, at a good price, within a couple of days. I was kept up to date with progress throughout. Top job. I would thoroughly recommend Welvan.

Thank you so much to all the team at Welvan, but particular mention goes to Sian who was marvellous throughout what was, at times, a very frustrating process. We were in a chain of four parties and Sian kept in constant contact to update us on what was happening with everyone. It was clear that she had a good relationship with the other agents in the process as she was often able to give us answers ahead of our own solicitor whenever we encountered difficulties. Having bought and sold a number of properties previously it's safe to say that Sian was the most communicative and knowledgeable agent of them all. We really felt that she was in our corner and looking out for us. Thank you again; we're so happy to have (finally!) completed on our sale.

Very friendly and helpful with our house purchase. First house we were buying with them fell through due to the seller withdrawing (thankfully at an early stage!) and then the second went through two weeks ago, though Sian had to do some very helpful chasing of solicitors when an issue halted everything. We found everyone we spoke to there very helpful and friendly. Thank you to everyone at Welvan and sorry for how many times I called you!

We recently bought our first home together in Baglan. We can't thank Sian and Camille enough. Sian was absolutely fantastic and helped us so much. She was excellent and prompt in communicating between us and the vendor and the solicitors. She truly was a god send and compared to all the other estate agents we dealt with over the course of a year, welvan were the most helpful and informative. Camille and Sian Thank you so very much for making this process so easy and as stress free as possible, if it wasn't for you guys it wouldn't have gone so smoothly in the end. As a first time buyer everything can seem a bit daunting but Sian at Welvan was efficient and made the whole process of buying a property so straight forward, it took all the stress away.
