They have removed the barriers to restrict access to petrol station. It has become a free for all again and could cause problems at busy times.

It's a petrol station so difficult to get excited. It is, however, the cheapest around if you are a Costco member often by quite a margin. Downsides are that it can be busy at popular times leading to queues, which can be a little chaotic at times.

Great price and someone available by pumps if needed. Shuts fairly early which causes an evening rush of people. They do not plan for bigger situations I.e. This Sunday families returning from half term trips away trying to fill up their car before they shut at 5pm. We waited in this queue for 30-45 mins. It took so long as they hadn't blocked off the car park slip roads to the main back road queue which meant people pushed in and in some cases people were forcing their way in, risking hitting their cars! There was no consideration for this at all. Made the whole experience unpleasant which is unfortunate. At the pump you scan your membership card and pay using card before filling up your car (hoping that both fuel pumps are working when there is so much traffic behind, ours wasn't). There was chaos where there wasn't needed, a little planning would have got them further and maybe costco should consider staying open later? They are getting the business so would be in their best interest. Overall 7/10 would go for cheap fuel but weary of having to wait a long time. Have seen the queue increasing in size the past year now Costco is more known.

Often very busy, but in due course you can get your fuel. The arrangement in the car park to channel vehicles to the petrol pumps is a bit slapdash though.

Members only but well priced compared to local competitors. It's a bit awkward getting out of the petrol station as you come out onto the main road into car park.

21st June 2023, approx 13:40, I visited Costco Petrol Station on the return journey from Cornwall.I was expecting queues, as is always the case, but when prices are cheaper for members than anywhere else (particularly when you they sell premium diesel only for less than standard diesel elsewhere), you expect a bit of a wait. The automat is right next to the entrance and the lanes all funnel out to the left of the forecourt to exit, which makes the traffic back up. The design and location of the forecourt is very poor - even worse than Southampton, which I thought was really bad.The queue wasn't too long for fuel and I was probably in and out in around 25 minutes. The issue was exiting the forecourt. A yellow mini that had been trying to funnel through from the right hand queue in the forecourt from the time that I arrived only just got out as I was filling up.The member of staff working on the forecourt was either not showing initiative and had no control over the traffic or was not allowed to take charge. Customers funneling out were getting irate, beeping horns and the every person for themselves mentality combined with trying to turn right to exit across the paths of customers driving into the store was a danger. I'm surprised that there were no accidents.I imagine early mornings (like most Costco) would be OK, but I certainly won't return if passing by, unless desperate.Costco could really learn from their Oldham store, which (despite being next to the motorway) is an absolute dream place to fill up, even at rush hour in my experience. The forecourt is well positioned, far from the entrance and the way in and out doesn't inconvenience other shoppers.

Good deal as always. It was tricky seeing the sign for entering the petrol area as the first left turn was not for the petrol station. They could add a couple more signs as I had to help a few go the right way.

Rude man at the door, I was with my family of 3 and forced us to leave my child outside (he looked the guy from Simpsons - Jeremy Freedman). Bad attitude. Not impressed having been a member for 5 years.

Yes, it’s Costco, but the fuel station needs to be organised better, the cueing system is a hotbed for angst, frustration and situations.
