Toby's really failed me, the second time. I love carvery, gravys and vegetables but Toby's bland taste doesn't really appeal to me. The restaurant itself and the staff are lovely, I'll give them that but not the food. I was expecting generous servings of meat and gravy but it seems limited as well considering.(This was on my first visit.)This time I ordered online, i am more disappointed of the food it all looks like a leftover of grandma's sunday roast NOT to mention just one meal arrived instead of the ordered 2 and the driver was lost too.P.S. buffet food are served generously, hence the term.

Very easy to book online, with great communication and acknowledgement by e mail. Nice friendly reception on arrival and seating of guests was very well organised, our waitress Emily was lovely and explained how the carvery worked (as we hadn't been before). there was a queue for the carvery about 10 minutes wait, but it moved quite quickly, so not an issue. the food was very nice with a good choice of meats and plenty of vegetables, and the chefs were very friendly and polite despite being run off their feet" as it was really busy. emily made sure we had everything we needed sauces etc and checked we were all happy with our meals. great service."

We were greeted immediately on arrival and taken to our table straight away. Helen, our server, was absolutely fantastic! She came across within 30 seconds and took our drinks orders. We had never been to a Toby Carvery before and Helen spent a considerable amount of time explaining the menu options to us, as well as what choices were available for my girlfriend who is a vegetarian.Helen checked on us regularly throughout the meal and made sure we had everything we needed. The service from her was well above what I would expect in a British restaurant at this price point - I was really impressed.The food was hot and fresh, as well as tasty and very reasonably priced. We would definitely return.

Food was great, love me a carvery.My only gripe is it's not an all you can eat anymore.Hardly seems worth going when you have places that have all you can eat.Doesn't serve lamb, meat options are limited.Lack of vegetarian option, alternative meats.

Food was amazing, meat a little over cooked for my liking. Laura our server made the experience lovely with her kind heart and song singing. Would recommend asking for her as your server.

Food was delicious but the restaurant was mayhem and chaos, firstly i booked my table, but yet had to wait past my booking time to receive my table, secondly there was customers everywhere not just at the tables but stood around the gangways waiting to make requests to staff and pay bills, after getting my dinner i had not been attended to by staff offering drinks or even to give us cutlery, we sat with dinner asked staff for cutlery, even went to toilet asked for cutlery again. Although the restaurant was manic and chaos i did enjoy the food

Service was exceptional. There was one waitress in particular who made us feel special. She was so friendly and professional. Food was fantastic. I had a vegetarian option which was one of the nicest vegetarian dishes I’ve had. The staff were all working so hard. I’d definitely come back again. I know my family love it . Well done !

Arrived and told staff that it was our first visit. I ask what's the process was told pay find a table any table and that's it. That was at 10:45, at 11:10 I went back to the bar and said where's the food it was then I was told it's all done by Buffet, I said but you never said anything about a buffet when we walked in she said oh really sorry about that but there's nothing left now as it stopped at 11:00 a.m. Terrible service, would never go back again, taking people for granted thinking that everybody knows exactly what to do when the walk through the damn door!

We always pop in and the food is always lovely and service is great and out server today was Carolina she was lovely and checked on us to make sure we were okay. Really good place to visit, would recommend to anyone.
