Their engineer came out in 2020 to fix a leaking hot water cylinder seal. For some reason he didn't drain it thoroughly so when disconnecting it we had water pouring through our ceilings, light fittings, down the walls etc.He apologised and we eventually went from room to room with him agreeing the damage to each wall and ceiling and photos were taken. It seemed an honest error on his part (and these things happen), which he again apologised for and told us his company's insurance would cover the damage and they would be in touch. 5 days later we'd heard nothing so made 2 phone calls to them and on the second managed to reach one of the owners, who told us we would have to claim on our insurance(!) and that was that - despite the damage having been completely caused by themselves. Totally unacceptable. Not even an apology from her.Due to the owners attitude I would never use this company again or recommend them to anyone.

If I could give no stars I would. My boiler issue started over 2 weeks ago and still wasn't fixed. They ordered the part incorrectly 3 times and we were then told we needed a new fan and pump. Got a second opinion and low and behold the engineer had put two microswitches into the boiler incorrectly. We had no hot water issue before they attended just heating and this miraculously stopped working too. A change of the switches and everything is working. Seems a bit strange doesn't it? After looking at other reviews it seems quoting for not needed parts seems common. I would avoid at all costs!!

Insurance company sent Absolute Heating. Paul was very professional, went that extra mile to ensure we were up and running for the festive yet winter period. Very well knowledgeable about our not so popular Potterton" boiler.Cannot thank Paul and Absolute Heating enough

UPDATE: Absolute Heating called me today (refused to respond via Email) to say they will not be looking to help resolve the issue because I posted a negative review of them online. Also worth noting that majority of positive reviews online are friends of the company.Summary: AVOID! Messed up my wiring and left me without a working boiler then denied any responsibility.I booked Absolute Heating through Local Heroes to fit a smart thermostat. The engineer arrived and began work by removing my existing Programmer then connecting my new one. He switched it all on and tripped the electrics and blew a fuse so swapped some wires over and tried again. He did this for about 45 minutes before telling me that I needed to call an electrician as there was a problem with the wiring and RCD.As he left he apologized for not being able to fit it and promised he'd get the company to service my boiler for free (a service I'd also booked for at the same time). He also left without putting my boiler back to the working state it was in so I had no hot water or heating. So I had to call an electrician to come out.The electrician came out and said there's nothing wrong with the wiring other than the new thermostat is wired incorrectly and as the wires are not labelled they had to spend 2 hours tracing the wires to figure out which was which. When I called absolute heating about this, they immediately got defensive saying they will not pay for the electricians work and they are not at fault. The engineer also lied claiming that he didn't say anything about a free boiler service and that he didn't touch any wiring at all. The woman on the phone was also very argumentative.Avoid these cowboys at all costs. They are NOT a reputable company. It's easy for anyone to whack a sign on the side of a van and pay someone for a professional looking website.

I just want to say thank you to Paul who has been amazing and gone above and beyond to help rectify our boiler issue. Due to a parts shortage/ and original fitting of my boiler it meant the job could not be completed in one visit. Paul kept me informed, updated and ensured this was fixed. Thank you so much could not recommend enough.

Just had Sam attend on an insurance call out. He called beforehand and arrived when he said he would, was polite and professional, diagnosed the issue quickly and talked me through it which I appreciated. Replaced the defective part and we are all back up and running. Would recommend.

They replaced my 22 year old boiler today. The two engineers were both punctual and polite. They explained what they were doing throughout and before leaving one cleaned up whilst the other explained how to use the controls. I have already booked for a yearly health check for my new boiler with them. Would recommend them to everyone, I will request the same engineer, Dave again.

Someone was suppose to come to check boiler which was switching off and making a loud noise at times but no one had come by 2 as was told by them someone will be between 8- 2pm. I tried ringing at 2.15, 2.30 and 2.45 but everytime I phone I have to wait as busy which is understandable but after about 5mins 30secs it gets cut off, even got my mum to try so we both on the phone to them at the same time but hers get cut off too. It's ridiculous how are we suppose to contact them?
