An absolute shambles. Having not used this centre for a while I arrived at 10.10 to find it closed 10 minutes earlier. It’s now closed for another two days so I won’t be able to pick up my parcel until Friday. It opens for two hours a day apart from Saturday when it’s open longer but is closed for two days during the week . A member of staff came out of the building and helpfully asked me if he could be of any assistance. Responding in a calm courteous and polite way took a lot of effort.They used to tell you their opening times on the red card they leave but don’t seem to do that anymore.

No post to our house in three weeks. Only way to get post on to collect from delivery office, poor opening times have restricted us doing this, have missed important letters from the bank. Unhappy that the excuse royal mail have given for 2 weeks is staff illness.....surely the whole deliverteam can't have all been off sick for three weeks?

My post has gone from daily, to weekly to, none at all. Even in Victorian times, they managed a regular post service-. since privatisation, its all fallen apart. Awful service on every level.

A signed for package collected by Royal Mail 10 days ago and routed to Portslade sorting office for delivery has still not arrived, so EVEN if you spend extra money on a service to assure prompt delivery it’s a waste of time. The signed for service is used to guarantee stuff like legal documents, official letters and time sensitive items reach their destination. What’s the point of Portslade sorting office? No post for days on end, supposedly safe services which you pay extra for are hopeless. Who manages this sorting office?

What a shame that you can’t give 0 stars for 0 service!Disgustingly rude staff - when you can get an answer on the phone! They have post sitting there for days as they ‘don’t have the staff to deliver’!Don’t worry none of you will have a job soon as Royal Mail - really should drop the Royal - nothing regal about your service!!- will be finished and then you can take your rudeness somewhere else! With service as you provide it’s not a surprise that people are using couriers more & more!What a shambles! Useless!

No post now for almost 3 weeks. I moved here a year ago and I didn’t think it was possible to become even worse than it was a year ago when we used to wait 2 weeks for a postie. Staff are so bored of the situation at the sorting office and that’s very clear. I’m also bored of having to collect my post when it’s supposed to be delivered as and when it comes in!

Haven't had any post or parcels for weeks even though I'm expecting plenty.again bn41 area seems to be being missed.maybe if you didn't change contracts then your staff wouldn't have left and you wouldn't be in this mess!!!

31 days now without mail in the BN41 area and counting , what a shambles of a sorting office this really is , no wonder Royal mails name is so tarnished with this disaster of a sorting office , I imagne there must be a huge mountain of mail sitting out in the rain that you lot walk past on a daily basis . You should all lose your jobs and be replaced by people that care .
