A free to enter nature reserve based around 4 lakes. Not massive and easy to walk around. Paths are mainly good although some are rustic and may not be suitable for wheelchairs. Birding is reasonable but depends on season and time of day I think the best lake is the furthest. Can’t comment on the cafe as it closed and reopening July 12 2023 with a new management.

Very beautiful nature reserve, although a little on the smaller side with not too many walks. But well maintained paths and friendly staff on site. The nature reserve also has a beautiful cafe with lovely views looking out on the lakes, with great outdoor seating. It's not too far from Salisbury if you're in that area. Car parking is free. On site toilets. Lots of good spots to take photos of the wildlife.

Excellent stop off on our journey home. Perfect length for a little walk and space for a picnic. Children enjoyed the little play trail and the bird hides along the walk as well. Lots to see across the different lakes. Toilets were clean. There is a cafe although it wasn't open due to a wedding when we went.

NO DOGS ALLOWED, beautiful place though. We found out when we got there!Edit: came back the next day and really is truly beautiful here, it almost reads the heart of Wiltshire, walking next to the lake and hearing all the birds singing. What's not to love with the peace and quiet here!

If your looking for a nature site that offers interest throughout the park this could be the one for you. There's free parking here although it gets a bit issued when in the busy periods, the cafe here has a splendid view over the lake.If you've got small children there is things here for then to do and interact with.Plenty of areas to sit down and take in the scenery out just watch the birds and relax, there's a walk around one of the lakes and if you need to go their is toilets by the cafe.

A quiet attractive area, with level paths and hides around several lakes. Lots of info and seating in all the hides. Plenty of bird life around so take your camera and binoculars. No dogs allowed and free admission and car parking. Large visitor centre overlooking one of the lakes. Disabled facilities provided.

A wonderfully peaceful place with at least four bird hides that we visited. Multiple lakes make up the reserve. There is a café and toilets on site. We saw a small number of lapwings, multiple cormorants and nearly 200 Canada Geese at the wetland area at the far end of the reserve. Definitely plan to revisit some time!
