The ice cream is definitely one of the best I have ever had, it is a shame it is so extortionately expensive. The last time we went it was £6.50 for just ONE scoop of their ice cream. Unfortunately, with these prices we haven't visited since when there are plenty of other nearby locations at less than half the price.

I had a friendly conversation with the owner and during our conversation I mentioned another ice cream shop. It was obviously a mistake to do so, as I am disappointed to say he launched a full scale verbal attack against this other shop and the quality of their ice cream, (which I know is untrue because this other shop produces the best ice cream I have ever tasted and I have tried a lot of ice cream shops over the years!) Very bad form... Also, to get 2 average sized scoops of ice cream (which they consider to be the large size) it was £7. Yes you read correctly £7!! Don't get me wrong, the flavours I chose were lovely but unless the prices come down, I definitely won't be returning.

Imagine the scene - chilly, damp Sunday afternoon, grey skies, low cloud base, sitting outside on uncomfortable chairs at too small a table, hunched up in the emerging drizzle, with an endless stream of jet planes taking off at 5 minute intervals from Manchester Airport, deafening one as they disappeared into the clouds, as Mobberley is at the end of the runway. Then there was the large BBQ tent within 4 feet, emitting aromatic smoke that overwhelmed the taste of the ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS HOMEMADE ICE CREAM. Don't look for the car park, as there isn't one, so we parked on the muddy grass verge. Conversation was difficult, with the clatter of metal poles and BBQ equipment being disassembled and loaded onto a pickup truck right next to us! But fear not, the ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS HOMEMADE ICE CREAM nullified all the mayhem, and made the visit totally worthwhile (we travelled 15 miles, having seen it on the Internet). Highly recommended, with the above caveats. But, I would pick a warm, dry day!

We came across this place while out for a drive. The ice cream was delicious, we would be happy to call in again. They also serve coffee and have an outside seating area.It would be helpful if they would put up a sign for parking, as it isn't clear where to park.

First and foremost we were greeted by a very well mannered and happy young gentleman, who's name is Will. So a big thank you to him as he started off a very happy experience.Now to the ice-cream, oh my goodness. We've never tasted ice-cream so morish and they were certainly not lacking in flavour.Definitely worth a visit.

Incredible ice cream. We tried chocolate, sticky toffee pudding, rum & raisin and the Fruit & Nut special. All amazing. We’ve taken a tub of salted caramel fudge home.It’s a really nice space as well, a friendly welcome and they’re clearly super passionate about their product. It shows. We’ll be back.

Great ice cream and affogato! I've had ice cream in lots of places and this is one of the best I've had.Really friendly staff and nice environment. Dog friendly too.

Just visited here. Can never be bothered to leave a review but… all of the staff were really friendly and welcoming. Ice cream delicious and just the perfect setting for a quick break in the shade!

After 38 miles of cycling around Cheshire without a plan, I just happened to come across a sign for coffee. It happened to be The Mobberley Ice Cream Co.A coffee was just what I needed.The first positive is that they have a proper place to store your bicycle.There is plenty of seating outside with a few tables under cover.I ordered a coffee and chocolate Brownie that came to £6.50 and is comparable with other places i visit while out cycling. The Brownie and coffee were very nice and worth paying a visit for.There is more seating inside.This is an ice cream shop, so there is no food available, but plenty of ice cream.The staff were very friendly.Next time I visit, I will have to try their ice cream.For cyclists, there was a track pump available. Always handy to know.
