Great venue. Never seen a bad gig there.Easy to get to & a decent capacity. I'm not local by a longshot but I prefer to travel that bit further for a good time.Reasonable drinks prices for a music venue in this day and age.

Epic venue. I was roadie for keys for Karnataka. Tom the engineer was supportive and provided an exceptional sound. The venue is excellent. A fire alarm during the event was handled swiftly and effectively- top marks for safety. Highly recommended. Karnataka? Even more highly recommended!

An absolutely brilliant venue. I think it's been around 17 years since I was there last due to me moving away etc. They have a brilliant variety of acts on. The staff are absolutely lovely and all in all, it's a great, intimate venue for live music. I'll certainly be returning on a regular basis now.

It's one of a very few live venues for music left. I had no trouble booking tickets online, although I always object to paying any kind of booking fee. It's been several years since I visited the Robin, and they have done a lot to it. Mainly to increase the capacity. The staff were friendly and afficent, and the drinks were competitively priced. There is limited seating and most of that isn't very comfortable and it seems that most of the people there for the gig were on the wrong side of 50 and I'd judge many over 60. So I couldn't see much chance of things 'kicking off' . I would think any drugs going around would be prescribed on the NHS, so something else not to worry about. We left when the band finished and all seemed well outside as well. Although, there were a few staggerers and wobblers a good night had been had followed by a sore head on Sunday.

Great for their tribute shows. Fantastic night out. Drink not cheap to be fair but hey, it was still a good night out. I'd still go to one of their tribute nights again.

The Goldmine of the Black Country! A great venue for seeing up and coming musicians.I saw Joanne Shaw Taylor when she was still a teenager and before being discovered and now an international blues rock artist. Great tribute bands as well of high calibre.Last week saw an all time legend Terry Reid - absolute class act. An informal venue where you can feel relaxed and have a great evening.

Forget the sticky floor and the lack of seating, this is a dance venue & everyone dances. If you pick your times right you can get served at the bar with ease. We watched the specials ltd & what a fantastic night it was, everyone was up for a party .
