We had a fantastic evening at The Real Greek, Reading. The staff were friendly and very knowledgable. Food portions were just enough and tasted great.Overall, exceptional food and very fine service throughout! Recommend this place for food experience.

We are regulars here and would like to say that this has been an amazing place to come to, every visit feels special, as if your sitting in Greece. Service was great food was lovely and we are just shocked that it will close down later this month, absolutely devastating. This restaurant is hands down our favourite and it's such a shame to see it go.

We had a lovely evening and enjoyed some delicious food. The portions were not that big however we ordered a variety of foods so it wasn't an issue. I found the prices to be reasonable and the service was great. It was my birthday celebration so we wanted the desserts to be really indulgent and they didn't disappoint!

Had a late lunch at The Real Greek, Reading, to bring back some holiday memories of our recent trip to Halkidiki! The Restaurant was quiet but it was around 15:00 so missed the lunch rush. Michael was our waiter and he was attentive, funny, charismatic and was very happy to chat with us. The food was fantastic although portion sizes could have been a little larger. We loved how the food was bought out on serving cages! Overall a fantastic experience and definitely coming back for more Gyros and Moussaka!

Nice food but some more veggie options would be welcomed and also if it were a bit more clearer how much one needs to order to get to a full stomach. Pleasant service and pleasant atmosphere. I would come back to try something different though.

Went with the meatballs and a dragon fruit pita. A take out never resembles the restaurant experience, but it could have been a taster for more. However, the meatballs were very hard and not taste. Also only three per serving and therefore a lot of pita bread and soft salad. I assume the meatballs were sitting too long in the sauce. The Halloumi popcorn was chewy, had a honey sweet but greasy taste and less than a serving should be. The dragonfruit was a good replacement for meat and the taste was alright.

We went in and got greeted by a lovely waitress. As it was a really hot day, she asked if we wanted to sit outside, which we did. Perfect!The food was absolutely amazing. Great flavours. They bring it on small plates, which makes sharing/ tasting very inviting.Even after finishing the food, we were left to chat and it didn't feel like they needed us to go. They also seem to have a great menu for vegans. I will go again!

The atmosphere is always nice. The staff were very friendly and we also got a complimentary dessert, which was good.The food was good, only the octopus that seems to be smaller now and the taste was a bit bitter. I have been to other units of The Real Greek and the portion of octopus was bigger and tastier. The wraps were delicious.Overall, a good experience.

First time trying the real Greek today,Lovely food, Great experience on our wedding anniversary.Staff really friendly will definetly be back. :)
