Walked through quickly. Great place for kids and souvenir shoppers. Very eclectic. The organ player was entertaining a crowd as we entered. An eclectic grouping grouping of collectibles. The museum is free with a donation box at the entrance. There is a cafe on the main level and a restaurant on the lower level. Both were crowded when we visited.

Great museum. Free entry. Lots of small, thematic exhibitions, with inspiring art and interesting information about the history of the city and area. The coffee shop in its center is also quite nice, with really friendly personal.

What I loved about the gallery (and museum) was that each hall had a concept that needed to be grasped, and the paintings didn’t follow a chronological order, nor were the artworks split into classics and contemporary art. I loved how every exhibition feels as a natural flow the further you go around the gallery. It was amazing to see such an emphasis on understanding art, looking closer at the details and what the artist has to offer. Kudos to the gallery curators. Highly recommend! And thank you Robert for showing us your favorite Dali painting and the hidden gems within it. :)

Absolutely wonderful museum and art gallery. For me the most stunning part is the building itself. Outside is good but inside is spectacular.Very helpful and friendly guides. No charge to enter except for special exhibitions. Quite similar to the Natural History museum in London but with art.We spent a few hours here and could easily have doubled it. Will be going back for more, that’s for certain!

If you're looking for somewhere to spend a couple hours at - this is the place. There is so much to see and each room is filled with amazing pieces of history and art. I loved every moment. Plus, I got to listen to an organ recital on the organ in the main hall!

So if you are into art and history then you'll surely love it here. Warning, you need to dedicate anything between 2-3 hours of your time because there's a lot to see. It's free to go in and you can get a paper map of the levels to find your way around. There's a pretty decent Cafe as soon as you come in and there are clean toilets. I surely have to come back as I didn't have enough time on my hands.

Loved this museum and art gallery. Was only in Glasgow for a flying visit, otherwise I'd have spent all weekend in there. Beautiful art, fascinating exhibits, a fabulous building and a world class organ to boot...

This museum is an amazing day out, good for all the family, Something for everyone, free entry, cafe, and plenty of interesting and informative exhibitions. The building itself is beautiful inside and out. Transportation is good, there is a bus stop right outside the entrance.
