Not all hero’s wear Capes however Jay Green of the Trader Shipley should wear one .The Cooker at Wilsden Cricket Club not used since the last bonfire 2019 was found not working a call to Jay on Saturday who came and inspected it today .However the visit confirmed that the Cooker was faulty and it was not economically viable to repair ,bad news with this years Bonfire only weeks away and Cricket Club funds at a low point .And then the bombshell which was totally unexpected ….Jay is not only waiving the cost of the inspection and the reconnection of the new Cooker …… He’s PAYING FOR THE NEW COOKER !Wilsden Cricket Club and the Bonfire Committee would like to express the upmost gratitude.
