The Manor House

Easter Egg Hunt 2023.My son and I attended last year and absolutely loved it, so I booked it again for more of the same. Except it wasn't.Got to the Manor House, only to find nothing set up. I went to the door and there was a notice giving a different postcode and that it was only 5 mins away (It was ten!) And this is where the Easter Bunny would be. Back to the car it was then. No email to inform of said change.When we got to the correct location I asked when the venue change had occurred and was told it had happened a week prior to the event and it was put on Facebook. Some people don't have Facebook, I am one of those people.There was not as much care and attention to detail taken this year, and the grounds were wet and it was very windy!There were no visual aids for kids that couldn't read the extensive list of characters to find, which there had been last year.The eggs were handed back in at the wooden cabin, and this year you got to choose one egg. Last year it had been two, and the eggs were alot bigger.The staff were friendly, but there was not wnough seated space to drink a coffee and have any cake. I just felt so disappointed after really looking forward to it with my son. I definitely wouldn't book again after this experience.

Went to the halloween walk.....Great value and excellent decorations ...thoroughly enjoyed it

Been a few times to different events and can't recommend highly enough. Both Halloween and Christmas walk-throughs show how much love and attention go in to the displays this family run. Definitely worth a visit. They also host a pumpkin patch in a nearby town at Halloween which is also a must do.

Tried the manor house for the first time as something a bit different for Halloween. What a brilliant experience, the decorations were fabulous & the treasure hunt for big & small kids was great. We were there for a later slot & it was really relaxed with not very many people in at the same time which let us take in all the sights & sounds The cake & cuppa at the end was appreciated. An adults night with scary jumper ooters" would be something we'd definitely be interested in if it was to run in future"

Really good value for money, ticket included hot chocolate, brownie and bar of chocolate and the lights and decorations were incredible
