Highly recommend Derbyshire broadband, we have been with them for 5 years and they are our only option for high speed internet in the countryside. The service has always been reliable with only the occasional short outage, however we have noticed over the last year it has become even better, I now can't remember when the service was last down. We have always found the support team and engineers to be excellent in dealing with any problems and fixing them rapidly, thank you!

Worked brilliant at first but after a month speeds dropped and lag increased tenfold numerous drops in service, can't be contacted on weekends and when complaints are made basically told to cancel the service after paying £200 for equipment and install wouldn't recommendUpdate 11/08/20:- after complaining with regards to the above issues and nothing really done I contacted consumer rights to help who advised to send a templated letter to Luke after a few days I got a response at 12:58 (11 /08/20) they were terminating my service 4 hours later1 star is only to leave a comment to warn others off, avoid all costs!!!!

Excellent provider.My rural home, despite technically being capable of receiving superfast broadband via phone line, was too far from the local cabinet to get anything above 10 mbps. Derbyshire Broadband were able to offer speeds of up to 84 mbps.Connection is more stable than my previous phone connection too.They're a small company, so it can take a week or two before they can install your connection, but it's worth it.EDIT (23/08/2019)Having been with Derbyshire Broadband for over 6 months now, I also wanted to recommend their customer service. My connection was dropping out at 5pm on Wednesday evening. By 10am Thursday morning, an engineer had visited and the problem had been resolved. You don't get that level of speed with larger suppliers.

Good consistent speed when working, but not reliable enough.Have been a customer for about 8 months, have had at least 3 service breakdowns of at least 3 hrs in that time. Contact only open 9-5! Not much help if your broadband goes out at 5.30!Derbyshire broadband a great idea but really need to sort out their reliability. The mission statement is to provide reliable service, but this is not happening at the moment.Happy to edit this review when the service improves.

Really good and allowed me to do so much at home, when there is an issue you just pick up the phone and they answer. They even came around off their own backs to check my antenna was in optimum position.I just wish they would advertise more as I speak to so many people who have never heard of the company and products but would purchase the service in a heartbeat.

I live literally in the middle of nowhere, no chance of getting usual broadband it these guys game me a solution. Sometimes it's down but issues are quickly resolved by a quick phone call and they often come out. No call centres, no waiting on the phone, no waiting in all day for engineers...the service is great, 5 stars from me

Well-being on a remote farm, the original service provider was BT , the best we could ever achieve was 1.5mb , all but useless , BT did try to sort it out but after 3 visits they gave up , BT last engineer who was very helpful recommended Derbyshire broadband .I have to say they are an outstanding company we now have 30mb which is great and it’s cheaper than BT . The service is always constant and in the two years we have been with Derbyshire broadband the service has only failed twice, the first time a lightning strike the second a damaged external cable , the engineer came out within a few hours and quickly repaired the faults , alway helpful and polite .My advise to anybody suffering with bad broadband is to ditch your supplier and start afresh with Derbyshire broadband if you want consistent fast reliable broadband backed up with great engineers and superb service
