Maxillofacial, Oral & Orthognathic Surgeon - Mr Manolis Heliotis

Had to remove a chin implant which had eroded my chin bone by 5mm. Simultaneously had a genioplasty and a lower lip lift. He is an excellent surgeon that improved an issue I did not think was improvable. He is also straight to the point, thorough and empathic. You can tell he is confident in his skills and that puts you at ease. He knows how to deal with more complex issues such as mentalis muscle resuspension, which I have not found many doctors able to deal with. Came all the way from Norway to see him and would do it again.

I was first seen by Mr Heliotis a few years back during my orthodontic treatment. Due to my severe underbite I was advised to undergo jaw surgery which happened in October 2022. From initial consultation all the way through to surgery and after care, Mr Heliotis was very informative, helpful and most importantly honest every step of the way. I can gladly say that the results of the surgery, which was performed my Mr Heliotis, are superb. I paid £250 to make an appointment with this doctor .To mention I recently done some veneers and I have some implants , and something is wrong with my bite. After he looked in my mouth for no longer than 10 seconds, he decided to tell me that I need a psychiatrist , it’s all in my head . Seriously! Since than I have consulted other specialists, and indeed I have a bad bite .This guy just robbed me for £250 , and pushed me out the door . This people don’t care about you , just to get richer. AvoidReplyBy all means I didn’t come for a surgery as I have told you than and I repeat to you again!!! But if you don’t pay attention to what the customer is saying !!!!I come because I went to have lip fillers to one the best aesthetic doctor in Uk and I have waited in line one year to get an appointment , but he said he can’t do it because my teeth are poorly done and it’s something wrong with them, I should check with a maxillofacial to see what is wrong. And I have explained you at that time exactly the story . You begin to convince me that It’s all in my head and I desperately need a psychiatrist. It wasn’t my idea in the first place and secondly how can you make such a statement to someone who you have seen for the first time in your life ? You spared 10 minutes of your life , I understood , take £50 if your time is so precious, but not £250 , money doesn’t grow on trees. The aesthetic doctor didn’t even wanna take a penny, even though it’s so hard to get an appointment with him . That’s all I want to say. All the best!

I used to have a terrible underbite coupled with overcrowding. When I first saw Mr Heliotis my surgeon, and Mr Moseley, who carried out my orthodontic treatment, I was unable to properly take bites out of my food and was very conscious of my appearance. The treatment I received was truly fantastic, everything was explained to me at every step and I had every opportunity to ask questions. They both are very caring and professional, and my results are excellent. After having a joint NHS treatment of orthodontics at Watford General and a double jaw surgery at Northwick Park Hospital, I now have full use of my teeth, my smile looks amazing and I'm really happy with the shape of my face.
