How can they be number 1 dry cleaners in York when they don’t do dry cleaning despite the sign at their shop? Completely wasted trip. Needs to be removed from listing and they shouldn’t advertise a service they don’t provide.

Great for travelers! Very thankful to the staff here for taking our dirty laundry in the afternoon on one day and then turning it around by the next morning so we could make it to our next destination in time.

Does not always open on time but laundry was clean, nice smelling and neatly folded. The staff is very helpful and nice!

When Johnston's were unable to do my suit on the day I rand Meadowcrofts and they held up the load to allow me time to get there. £12 for a suit clean dropped off in the morning and picked up at lunchtime. Great service.

Could not have been better, if you are visiting in York this is the laundry for you. They will wash dry and fold for 5 per kilo. Cannot do better then that and had it ready in one day.

We were visiting York for the bank holiday weekend and sadly I had a spillage in my suitcase, covering everything on the Saturday! Thankfully found this place and they so kindly were able to wash and dry my clothes by Sunday morning (when they weren't even open) ready for the rest of our visit. Can't thank this place enough!

Despite begging called Meadowcrofts “dry cleaning” they don’t actually dry clean, don’t get me wrong the staff Inside where helpful in advising alternatives but perhaps a change of name should be considered as this does (in my opinion) boarder on false advertising

Excellent service. Very friendly and were able to remove an unknown stain from a silk dress in less than 24 hours and at a very reasonable price. Thank you for your help. I’ll definitely use you again and recommend you to others.

Had laundry washed, dried and folded while we toured York. Dropped off in the morning, picked up in the afternoon. Excellent service, very reasonably priced.
