Century Cinema

Very old school cinema, cheap and cheerful.Extremely affordable. But dated.

So great to get to see shows which are filmed at London''s top west end performances, lovely comfortable seats, great night out

Used Bingo side for an event.Drinks limited but ok. Food very good,Toilets needed to be restocked more frequently for number of people at venue but responded immediately when reported

My daughter and her boyfriend just got refused tickets as they need id for a 15 rated movie!! What I'd does a minor have? Oh well they will go to Colchester next time.

This cinema has been around for as long as I can remember, I used to go here regularly as a child as it was great value for money. Fast forward to now and I still use the cinema and take my children here as well as it's still absolutely amazing and cheap. If you live in Clacton or you're just passing through you have to take advantage of this amazing little gem. This cinema can compete with the other main chains for a third of the price and you'll be well looked after by the friendly staff. I would advise getting there well ahead of the start time as their serving area for drinks, snacks, hotdogs, ice cream, tango ice blast, popcorn etc isn't huge and the queues can be a little annoying. This being said if you purchase your ticket (physical not digital) beforehand you can walk straight past the queue but will have to wait for the queue to go down before getting drinks which I think is the best way to do it.

Century Cinema in Clacton is a great place to watch a movie. The theater has a wide selection of newly released movies and the staff are always friendly and helpful. The seats are comfortable and the sound quality is excellent. The concession stand offers a variety of snacks and drinks, and the prices are reasonable. Overall, Century Cinema is a great place to watch a movie and I definitely recommend it.

Went to see Oppenheimer interesting movie 3hrs went pretty quick an absorbing movie. Comfortable seating ticket only £3.50 £4.50 weekends and holidays. Excellent

Great value for money. It’s a shame everyone can’t take their own rubbish and leave it like a tip for you all to clean up but you are fabulous
