Prescotts TV

Hello Have LG smart tv and sometimes have low WiFi connection can’t watch netflix or YouTube. Can you tell me please what kind of problem can be please?Thanks

Cannot speak too highly of this firm. Had a 9 years old Panasonic TV model No. TX-P46G20B which would not show picture even though the red light was on. The television also started making clicking noises every few minutes or so. Telephoned one TV engineer, who said that this was a common fault with Panasonic and that you could not get spare parts for it, he suggested that we get a new television. Before buying a new tv, decided to get a second opinion. Took it to Prescotts for them to have a look at it. They contacted me 3 hours later to say that the tv was fixed and ready for collection. All the tv needed was a factory re-set. The tv is now back home and working properly. Very helpful and honest family firm. Thank you for a job well done. John Troughton.

We tuck a TV in they had it for a day and they called us to say it needed a new power board and not worth fixing we could leave it and they would chuck it, I said no and collected it anyway, so they couldn't fix it and sell it... anyway I tweeted Sharp as the TV was not old... i told them what the TV was doing and they said it was a software update so £5 for a USB sent in the post straight from Sharp and the TV is fixed. So I'd double check or get a second opinion.

Took a few weeks to have my TV repaired but they went to great trouble to get the part that had to be replaced nice friendly people probably need to keep in touch with customers in a better way, but overall pleased with my experience with Ptrscotts TV repairsJG wigan

Phoned Prescòts,told them that my son said the tv leds were failing.They picked it up, five days later i called to ask if it was ready to pick up,the girl on the phone said NO it would cost too much to fix and would be cheaper to buy a new one,there was no one i could speak to as they were putting aereals up in Preston that day.,TV is only 3 years old. Rang next day to ask when they would return it and asked the bloke what was wrong with it,he said all the leds have gone.I heard the girl in the background say,we dont do LEDSs anyway.".!!!! The same bloke had picked up my TV had charged me £25 knowing he wasnt going to repLace the LEDS. I got the TV repaìred and returned from the TV repairs shop near TINLINGS in PRESCÒT £90. Could have cost me hundreds if i had listened to PRESCOTS IN PEMBERTON."

Helpful and friendly place. Were unable to repair my television but were happy to inspect for free and advise of the issue.

Our Samsung plasma {nearly 8 years old} picture stopped working last night {22/12) but sound was fine. Brought it to Prescots and they had it fixed in a few hours. Only cost £60 and when we picked it up the guy said he had also soldered another part saute it is dinnertime a fault in this model. Top shop and would recommend them to fix your TV ~ saved us having to buy a new one for 4 or 500! Tom

Spoke to 2 other tv repair guys both said bin it this guy said let me see it 30-60 to fix, anymore i will speak to you 1st before i do job anyway fixed 60 quid..
