Best remaining lock on the Stamford Deeping Canal. Although the doors are long gone it is a magnet for wildlife. The fish ladder is well used, providing food for the resident heron. In September every year, the lock pound is used to start the world famous duck Derby. Lovely place for a river side picnic.
