I’ve used Wards several times and each time, they’ve been efficient, friendly and most helpful. Highly recommend them!!

Avoid the brunch in Bradley Stoke. Rude service, I was literally welcomed on the phone with 'oh, it's you', zero customer service skilles. They messed up our forms to withdraw from ISA account TWICE! and when I asked what happened and how is that possible, they said it was 'human error' ! I understand errors, but lack of support, lack of sense of urgency I do not! Due to their mistake we were close to not being able to complete purchase of our house.We have complained to their office, who checked the files and send an email back to say that they cannot uphold complain but as 'good will gesture' they offered us discount on the fee. If you value your well being, money and time DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Used Wards Family division for both my parents wills. Extremely helpful with free advice during the execution.Highly recommended.

The level of service experienced from start to finish at Wards Bradley Stoke was simply shocking. Communication was non existent, and at times customer service was downright rude. What should have been a simple service resulted in a long drawn out experience with numerous excuses and lies to account for delays and mistakes. Constant contact required to steer the direction of progress and many tasks that should have been handled by the team passed back to the client for completion. Will never use or recommend this particular branch of Wards Solicitors again.

Wards were recommended by the developers. With hindsight it was a bad decision to instruct them. When we experienced issues after exchange of contracts the only advice we were given was that we would lose our deposit if we didn't go ahead with the purchase. We were on our own trying to get the developers to rescind the contract. We had a very good case against the developers who had no option other than to rescind the contract and refund all deposit monies. With no thanks to Wards we had an uphill struggle but we succeeded without their help. No I would not recommend Wards if you are buying a new build and they are recommended. Spend time researching other solicitors that do not have links to the developer. I wish we had done that.

Wards were recommended to us by David Wilson and we used them to purchase our new build. Wards got the sale pushed through for us with incredible speed and ease, there was no stress at all and it was a pleasure to deal with everyone on the team. Bonny is a real asset to the firm, I had a a couple of concerns about something on our build and she went out of her way to get it sorted for us which was above and beyond her role. Thank you Bonny, very much appreciated!

Geoff Goulding and Wards Solicitors made the entire process of buying and selling excruciating. They were unresponsive to calls and emails, and would ask receptionists to lie to us in order to avoid giving updates on the process.Goulding was unprofessional, incompetent and lazy. It would take weeks to get a piece of paper signed.Buying and selling a house is already stressful enough, don't let these cowboys make it worse for you. Look for a more competent solicitor.

Thornbury Branch - unable to post for the actual branch.Sadly can't recommend and wish I'd read the other reviews first.Felt my wife did more work than Wards; there were numerous errors in every document we received. They missed a large amount off the inheritance tax schedule & incorrectly advised when we pointed this out - we had to call HMRC to check.1 star because we did actually get probate - but would have been less stressful to have completed it ourselves.
