Never understand the gloomsters speaking about the NHS. I suffered from food poisoning. One scan, x-ray and blood test later, all resolved. Very effective people.

Fractured neck of femur due to fall whilst fell walking near Ambleside. After brilliant work by mountain rescue, I was ferried by ambulance to Lancaster Royal infirmary. This was Saturday 12th August. I was operated on the following day, and discharged on Thursday.I would like to say, the treatment I received was first class. All staff were fantastic, and I could not have had better care anywhere.
