A beautiful walk from the city centre with lots of restaurants, coffee bars and fast food restaurants. Bonus a beautiful view of the River Foyle. Why not go over the peace bridge to Ebrington Square. Enjoy a coffee, beer or meal.

We moored on the visitors pontoon, which is the first pontoon downstream on the outside. It's clearly labelled once you are moored up, but not from the boat. There are several sets of metal steps which seem to be for the use of visitors. The toilets and showers are on this pontoon. There is an area to dispose of rubbish at the council offices a minuted walk away. Plenty of credit on the electric so did not need to buy a card. Everyone very friendly on phone, radio and email, but we did not see anyone official on the pontoons.

Walk along the Quay grab a coffee and watch the boats go by.

Nice flat walk along the Rivers edge, plenty of places to sit and relax and take in the views of the river, if you are up early enough and the weather is decent you could be lucky enough to see the sun rise over the river
