Excellent cinema and really lovely staff. 5-star in that respect. The lack of fifth star is the prices on the concessions. 12 for two drinks and a bag of sweets!? I paid over £50 for a drink and snack for 6 people at Christmas. Vue might as well make the staff uniforms come with a mask. I know it’s nationwide. Maybe this will get back to them. Doesn’t take away from the entire local experience here, it just puts me off purchasing anything here.

watched the new wonka film amazing but the only thing that was wrong was the kids laughing the whole film If your the parent or parents of these children i hope you know that everyone was annoyed and despite multiple people saying shhh they kept on laughing i hope you don’t take them to a cinema again otherwise people will be even more annoyed

First visit to a Vue Cinema so went with open mindsFound ticket prices reasonable but popcorn ridiculously expensive and soggy as though new popcorn being mixed with old. Definitely wouldn't buy again.We'd booked and paid ahead for premium seats tbinking they would be more comfortable as the film was 3 hrs long.However the seats are very upright pushing head forward and we found them most uncomfortable.Staff very friendly and helpful, queues build up so leave plenty of time.Not a total disaster and we would use this cinema again but only because there aren't many in South Wales.I guess we've been spoilt by Cineworld cinemas with fully reclining seats.

Really lovely place.. Although some of the seats really do need sorting out, with ripped arm rests etc.Really need seating in the foyer for people to wait or just rest if disabled.. Staff super friendly and helpful

Cancelled a showing that I bought tickets for months in advance 5 MINUTES before it was due to start. I travelled for this theatre recording and even cancelled my actual theatre tickets for the show itself because I was due to give birth to my son. I am so disappointed. I am complaining until I get my petrol money back. Useless cinema with terrible priorities.

We haven’t been to the cinema for years and suddenly we’ve been three times in three weeks!! Sadly however, The Vue needs a good clean and a bit of refurbishment in some areas. We sat in the premier seats - some of which are an absolute disgrace. The seats are ripped and look very tatty. I would be furious if I had to sit in one. As for the loos ….. apparently the Gents toilets smell ghastly and the ladies aren’t much better. Come on Vue. Pull your socks up. If you want people to go to the cinema at least make it a pleasant experience. Some cinemas these days go the extra mile …. I think you should see what they’re doing and try to keep up.

This is a great cinema and in a convenient location close to a large multi-storey car park and restaurants etc. The pricing here is also much cheaper than the cinema closer to home, the food is expensive and of mediocre quality - but isn't that the case in all cinema's?!The only criticism would be that had I of paid for the premium seats I would have been disappointed - they all looked dirty and a lot of them had ripped arm rests etc - I preferred our 'cheap' seats!

Smaller than some Vue cinema that I've been to previously, however they gave a number of screens and pretty regular film times.It's really conveniently located alongside at Catherine's walk car park (book that online for quite a big saving) and also has a number of restaurants nearby.The cinema itself was clean and tidy with polite and helpful staff. The seats were in good condition and pretty comfy tooFood is typically very overpriced as per most cinemas, however there is a newsagents 5 mins walk where you can stock up beforehand as Vue do allow you to take food in.Would certainly use again.

3 of us went the cinema to watchThe Little mermaid ...We were waiting 35 minutes to watch the movie and nothing came on screen. As there was some mistake with film that was sent over. The staff was absolutely polite and helpful they given a refund. Definitely coming again soon!

Watched The Creator - such a great value night out now Vue have changed their ticket pricing. Parking is right next door, always plenty of seats and the audio and visuals are great. Never have to queue, easy check-in and comfy seats. Can't find fault at all.
