Great stock of a range of most instruments for every level, and support sound equipment, mics PA/amps etc. Knowledge, patient, polite and helpful staff. They have their own technicians and Links & connections with lots of music industry related specialists who can really get things done.

I rang Scayles Music a week ago to get advice about shipping my guitar from long-term storage in Edinburgh to my new home in Spain. They were very friendly and happy to have a look at my guitar if I could bring it in.In the end, I wasn't able to visit them during my flying return visit to Edinburgh, but I really appreciated their welcoming assistance. They were also always very knowledgeable and friendly during my 25 years of living locally.It's no surprise that they are much-loved by Edinburgh residents.

LOVE THIS PLACE!! even though i live in north berwick, i will still travel to edinburgh to buy any of my instruments here!! i have bought my keyboard from them and it was wonderful! i even bought a travel sized guitar and they gave me the bag and pick’s for free!i definitely recommend this place if you’re wanting to buy any sort of instrument! they have everything!

Had my beloved bouzouki given a proper tune up here and wow did these guys do a fantastic job. It's like a completely new instrument - they totally eliminated the fret buzz issue I was having, perfected the intonation despite me previously giving up hope that it could ever be fixed, and fixed my string action as well as giving the instrument the best polish and tlc it's ever had. Can't recommend their set-up service enough!

Fantastic service from this music shop. My son's guitar neck cracked after falling. I visited Scayles Music to see if I could get it fixed. The gave me excellent advice on whether I should get it fixed and gave me a cost estimate. The guitar came back like new condition and they charged me less than the estimate. Very happy.
