Hagley Flooring

An absolutely awful experience using Hagley Flooring for my new build property. I phoned the day before fitting and they promised me everything was ready to go and all parts were in stock. On the day of the fitting no one turned up and it was virtually impossible to get hold of Maz. When the floor was being fitted we found that Maz had not even ordered the correct number of LVT packs. I found them to be very deceitful and their fitters to be extremely wasteful. The fitters wanted us to order extra laminate and LVT flooring from Maz - however, when I told them to use the left over pieces, they suddenly found that they could finish the job. Maz had also told us the extra fees we paid for the bathrooms meant that the toilets would be lifted and the floor placed underneath. The fitters refused to do this and when we phoned the shop one of the employees said this was not in the price - but the extra fees were to work in small areas such as bathrooms - so Maz had blatantly lied to my face. The fitters even wanted me to pay for the silicone to be placed around the edges of the LVT - which is absolutely appalling. All in all a thoroughly horrible experience dealing with Hagley Flooring. Avoid this place at all costs. I would give no stars if possible !!

AVOID THIS PLACE.horrendous company. Fitted our laminate floor throughout and there has been a problem with the floor creaking everywhere even though they said it was fine to fit. When ringing maz to tell him about the problem he has blocked me on everything so cannot contact him at all. It is true what they say that if you go with a bad company you end up paying twice. We are having to fork out another 3.5k to have the problem fixed as Maz will not acknowledge us at all. THEY ARE SCAMMERS. please avoid.

We had carpet and LVT fitted in April with this company and I have to say the service in the store was excellent Maz was really helpful so we decided to go with these guys. A few months later and the LVT fitting day arrives the gentlemen turn up and all seems ok however whilst watching them work banging things across the walls scratching my front door and paintwork up the staircase I was not impressed however I let it slide as I just wanted them out the house.The next day our carpets were due to be fitted however by 10-11am no one had arrived. We called the office to be told the materials hadn’t been picked up yet and would be later on this afternoon.. we waited and waited and by 3pm they were finally here.. the fitters for the carpet were also not very careful and were dragging things in without being careful of walls etc. After few hours the carpet was fitted and it looked great apart from a few scratches on the skirting boards which I was happy to let slide knowing we can fix ourselves.After a month i noticed a seem in the carpet over a high traffic area starting to show in the carpet .. I emailed Hagley flooring several times with no reply so I called Maz over a week ago and told I would receive a phone call however nothing has come through so I left it another week.. I then have tried to call again this morning and the line will not even ring out which now has me thinking I have been blocked by this company.. I am really frustrated as this is our first home and we have saved so hard to be able to afford nice things and all we wanted was a simple repair on the carpet seem and it’s just impossible to get an apology or an answer.Please avoid this company I wish I had spent a bit more money and gone with someone trusted in my local area.

Maz was extremely helpful and professional from start to finish and the price was the most competitive I found. I love my grey herringbone style flooring in my through lounge and hallway, it is seamless. I would definitely use Hagley flooring again and recommend them highly. Easy to use and flexible service, nothing was too much trouble

A really amazing experience with Hagley flooring, a great price and I honestly can't fault the service, communication was amazing as well. The fitters were lovely and had great attention to detail. Would happily use Hagley flooring again.

Maz is #1 in the flooring business. He knows his products well, friendly, professional as well as competitive prices.We called to set up for measurements, they actually were able to come the same day.My husband and stopped in to the store 2 days later , choose the flooring and they were in our home working 2 days later. The work was done properly and fast.We couldn’t be happier.If I had any questions (which I always do) I was able to contact Maz without issue to answer any question and not made to feel like I was a bother.We’re extremely happy with the results.Thank you again for everything Hagley Flooring

We had our downstairs flooring fitted last week. Went for coffee coloured herringbone laminate. Maz In store talked us through the whole process and came out to measure before ordering. The price was a lot cheaper than other company's we had been quoted by, for both the laminate, underlay and fitting. The fitters worked all day non stop and finished the following day, making sure everything was fitted correctly and of a extremely high standard. Clearing up after themselves. I strongly recommend . We have had so many lovely comments from friends and family.

Paid for all materials up front ready for our first home. Scheduled a date for carpet and LVT to be fitted a month later. When the fitting day arrived no one turned up and Maz the owner ignored all contact. Impossible to get through to him. Two weeks have now passed and still no response. A real shame as Maz was very knowledgeable and presented as a respectful businessman upon the initial consultation. Maz even came to my home to take measurements. I can only assume that I have been scammed and have therefore reported to trading standards. Avoid at all costs.

I just popped in at Hagley Flooring to get an idea of the prices for engineering floor that I wanted for my house project. I was surprised.Best prices, wide range of products excellent customer service. Delivery was as scheduled, and I was kept updated with it's arrival. The actual flooring I received was great, all boxes from the same batch. The new dinning room looks great. Will be ordering again for hall way when decoration nears completion. I already have recommended to 3 friends of mine.Thanks Maz for making this project so easy.

AVOID THIS FLOORING COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!we originally had quotes from a few flooring companies and went with Hagley flooring as they seemed progressional in the shop and the price was good. Oh how wrong were we. I just wish we had spent more as now we are going to have to fork out and pay thousands to have our flooring done again.Maz and the fitters both said that our floor could be fitted (we had problems with the levels which we got our builder to rectify) so they came round and said it’s not 100% level but the floor could still be fit and be fine.We had herringbone laminate throughout the whole house and the whole floor creaks. Everywhere you stand on it it makes a noise. I rang maz to tell him and he came round and at first he was like yes this is bad and even said he wouldn’t want to live like that. He said wait a few more weeks to see if it settles. When it was still the same I rang him back and he did not want to know and even blocked me so I couldn’t ring him. How unprofessional is that. I have also been blocked on the Instagram page.Also the fitters are horrendous. Cutting through our brand new kitchen with a multi tool, leaving the kitchen units damaged. Leaving marks on doors where the multi tool has been used to cut away architrave. The flooring was also left with no door thresholds, looking very unfinished. This was not mentioned until asking why they weren’t fitted. The toilet was also left as Maz apparently hadn’t told fitters this was included… When i rang originally he agreed with me it was then later back tracked and all of a sudden it wasn’t. Then saying he was having to provide extra flooring out of his own pocket. Even though this was included in original quoteI WOULD AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.We found out the hard way.I would give zero stars if this was an option.
