Fantastic experience. I have wanted to try The Mad Hunter for a long time. This place didn't disappoint. Great atmosphere, attentive and knowledgeable service and really tasty food. Will absolutely return.

Small restaurant with wonderful food. The staff are so proud of the food and worked hard to serve us.The food was delicious - beautiful flavours and fascinating options on the menu.We will be back!

Very nice food, lovely staff and the menu is a bit different but wonderfully delicious! Reminded me of how great restaurants used to feel about 30 years and more ago. Yep. I’m that old.

Food was amazing. We were a table of 4 and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Tasty and well presented. Lovely views out to the bay.It was a little tricky to find with Google maps as we didn't realise it was within/above the Pallatine pub. It would be good to advertise the fact.Highly recommended.

Absolutely amazing food, atmosphere and service. The zebra burger was delicious. Kangaroo steak was amazing. The staff were great also. Will definitely be going again. 5☆☆☆☆☆

I was very excited about the idea of exotic meats here. I had a delicious sea bass stew which was perfect for the cold winter weather. I was expecting something more 'out there' with the meats, there was a kangaroo burger as an option. I'll have to try it again when I'm in the area to give it a proper review!

We had a lovely meal at the mad hunter with friends. The food was all great quality. I had ostrich steak followed by malva pudding with delicious homemade custard. I think any south Africans will instantly spot their favourites on the menu. It was my first visit but will definitely be back at some point.

Absolutely loved this place. A meal we will remember for a long time. We had slow cooked Portuguese beef stew, home made crust bread ( great for dipping in) and a shared side of dirty fries. Amazing flavours that we will be back for. The setting suits the menu,,wonderful atmosphere.

Absolutely unreal place to dine. Completely different and unique to what we are used to. From the service to every mouthful was nothing but delightful. Will definitely be returning.
