I personally like the school in the aspect of class rooms and pe areas but the teachers usually make it their top priority to make sure us students wear the uncomfortable uniform instead of actually teaching. I got given a detention in French for taking out my hair by mr hernandez. Some teachers just aren’t trained to work with some types of pupils. The school isn’t that bad just the teachers aren’t helping. Some teachers such as miss Pratt and mr hussey actually teach and make sure we are always interested during lessons.

With what I'm seeing, I don't think it's a bad school tho, people might have said the school has problems but the government has changed the teachers so it isn't so bad anymore

In general the school is fine, I personally don’t have any major problems like bullying or something like that but what I would say is that the staff care way more about the uniform than they do about other things. As a student, I can tell you that the staff will literally give you a detention for having a little white mark on your shoes! And not only that, we have these ridiculous trousers and skirts that are uncomfortable and no one likes. The school should be caring about the student’s education not about if they have white on their shoes or not, or if they wear jeans or whatever. The lessons are also often quite boring although not all the time. The teachers I’ve had so far are good and nice, but they take uniform too seriously. Another thing is that teachers often give students detentions for no reason. For example, one of my friends said in one of our classes “Cat Meow Meow” and immediately got an hour detention after school. I don’t think that that is necessary for saying three words. Overall, the school isn’t that bad but the staff could use some improvement.

Went to this school until y11 finished my gcse. Never have I ever been in a bad school ever teachers don’t help much when you have problems or about your mental health , school uniform matters more than that in this school, including some of the teachers that make fun of you for it

Terrible school. Does not support students with learning difficulties or mental health issues. More and more people are pulling their kids out of this school and I don’t blame them

Low standards, tolerates bullies and removes the one being bullied as appose to showing values and removing the bully. If you look back at ofstead reports this school performs poorly and second to last on poor GCSE RESULTS.Teachers are on an authority high and where very rude and disrespectful to my self and my child. Also sent my child home on multiple acashioms for white Mark on shoes.I would rather my child be in school then being sent home for a white rim on shoe.As I mentioned, teachers are on an authority high. And the school under performs.
