The Barry Brothers barbers and hairdressers

It was the week our kids went to back to school, perfect time for a haircut....there was 3 staff working and only 2 cutting hair. Waited 45 minutes, I wouldn't have usually done that, waiting that long for ANY service is ridiculous, but you know, my kid NEEDED his hair cut!

My son has always been a nightmare at getting his haircut, until we met Caroline, now he has to go to just her at the same salon and sit in the same seat, she is always accommodating. All haircuts have been amazing. My son was so scared of the clippers before but she’s been amazing he lets her use them now. No faults whatso ever. Very very happy

I am afraid I had a poorer experience than normal. I asked for a scissor cut as I don't like the sharp definition of clippers on the sides. I was given to an apprentice who clearly did not know how to cut hair with scissors and proceeded to use 3 different types of clippers. He then had to request help when having to use scissors on the top. I feel that if you are going to let a trainee loose on a paying customer (something, as a teacher, I realise should happen) you need to let the customer know and constantly supervise whilst the trainee is cutting hair. It's not the fault of the trainee that he did not know how to scissor cut, but the supervisor perhaps should have realised this and ensured the trainee cuts hair that need a clipper cut only

Went in to get a haircut at short notice before work and was met with a friendly member of staff (Lewis). Now my hair was a complete mess and I stated that lewis was extremely nice about it and since i was on short time before work he got my hair cut in time and did a wonderful job. Very friendly staff, takes pride in their profession and i would defintely go again.

Staff were polite and friendly I was seen fast due to it being early on a Monday morning. I travel a lot and whilst traveling need my hair cutting, so have been to a few barbers in my time. These are ok not the best and certainly not the cheapest for what I would have said to be a quick cut, for the cost of the haircut I expected a bit more. Will try somewhere else if I need a cut in Corby again.....one thing I will say is the location for a cut if in town is handy.

Always excellent service every time I visit. Caroline is very friendly and so are the other staff members. Best barbers in Corby. Highly recommend

Toddler UnfriendlyBooked and paid online for an appointment yesterday for today for our 3-year old with Jakob, we got there seemed put out that my grandson wanted to sit in one of the cars and when told to only use scissors as scared of clippers (he had a bad experience with another hairdresser with clippers) we were told by Jakob that he couldn’t use scissors and we were left to wait for 40 minutes for another stylist to be free. By the time she started he was extremely distraught and for speed had to use the clippers to get it done as quickly as possible and due to the distress came out with an incomplete haircut. Not at all friendly and definitely do not recommend.
