Screwfix Maidenhead

What I most like about screwfix is that they managed to keep providing a good service during the lock downs due to covide.Apart from that they offer a great selection of power tools and almost everything needed for you house renovation.The car park is a nightmare though, very small with cars parked everywhere, even on the access to the park. Usually the car park is full even if the store is empty or people is just sitting inside their cars having lunch.Staff should pay more attention to this and keep the car park free of idiots.

90% of the time you'll have to queue at this store, sometimes the queue is going out the door. Staff are helpful, management need to put more hands at front of shop serving customers at peak times. Parking is also very limited.

Great service from Ben who also gave some lovely and correct advice to the customer before me. What an asset to the company.

Huge thank you to the Manager (Alec I think his name is) in helping me return 3 radiators today (19th July). Had a cowboy plumber who ordered the wrong radiators and disappeared and was stuck with 3 incorrect radiators. He helped in getting these returned with ease and was sympathetic to my situation. Also helped me carry new radiators to the car. Great customer service, an asset to the company.

Very annoying experience with Screwfix, they do so much right but when it's wrong, it's costly. Bought a new tap here for one of my buy2lets that needed a new one fitting as an emergency due to the old one leaking. purchased this, dropped it off at the flat for the plumber to fit, the emergency plumber's rate was £140 per hour, but fitting a new tap would take well less so i paid it. As soon as he arrived, unboxed the tap, it clearly had parts missing and damage. Someone has returned this to screwfix this way and screwfix resold it without checking the items condition. Getting compensation for this has been a nightmare, all i want is to cover the 2nd hour of labour, yet they're offering me £30. No, you made the mess, you can cover it and train your staff properly.

Few staff are very friendly few are ok. Few needs to pay more attention to customers

I was served from a gentleman called Justin the duty manager.He bent over backwards to help me find the correct chainsaw blade for my chainsaw.Very polite and had a very good attitude towards his customers..I would highly recommend them...
