My first time visiting a barbers in 25 years as I,m a baldy but have just grown a beard...had a beard trim and tidy up and was really pleased with the service I got....also it's got to be one of the most scenic barbers in the country with the view of the harbour.

Came in today to an empty shop with the hope of having a quick tidy up, just some simple grading on the sides and back, nothing more. Was told by the very polite male staff member that he was not allowed to cut women’s hair. I tried persuading him and even asked if I could call his boss but to no avail. This really isn’t okay in this day and age and is in fact unlawful - you cannot deny someone your service based on gender.
