Blundell Bakes

I've ordered a few cakes and brownie boxes from Jemma at Blundell Bakes over the last year and I have always been over the moon with not only how delicious they've been but how beautifully decorated they are. My personal favourite was a surprise birthday cake for me which was a lovely apple crumble naked layer cake!

I gave Blundell Bakes a photo of the sort of large celebration cake I wanted and Jemma did a really excellent copy of the colour and decoration and within my budget. It looked really pretty.

I made my first order with Jemma last week after seeing her post on my village Facebook group with some photos of her incredible creations; I ordered a chocolate praline cake (for one :P) and not only did it look amazing, it was beyond delicious! I cannot recommend her enough! The texture was perfect, the taste was even better than I could have possibly imagined, and you could clearly see the effort and love that had gone into making it. Thank you, Jemma!

We had a lemon sponge, lemon curd and vanilla buttercream cake for our wedding. It looked stunning and tasted absolutely delicious… all our guest had many compliments. The cake was done exactly how we wanted it. We all liked it so much I decided to order the same one for my mother in law’s birthday and she was super happy.

Absolutely lovely cakes. Beautifully decorated and great flavour and texture. We have ordered three cakes from Jemma now and they have all been incredible. One of which was our wedding cake and everyone loved it. Jemma is also very flexible for designs and flavours and able to give advice on your ideas. Will definitely be ordering more cakes in the future!

I contacted blundell bakes late on a Sunday asking for a cake delivery Thursday for a friends birthday surprise, she replied within 10 minutes of my message and was so helpful and lovely and she delivered the most beautiful cake and offered so many options! She’s incredibly patient and her partner that delivered the cake was really lovely. My friend was so made up with his cake - thank you so much for the fantastic customer service and quality product! Highly recommended!

I ordered a cake from Blundell Bakes for my birthday and I'm so glad I did! Jemma was able to cater for my dietary requirements, favourite flavours and combine it all into the most beautiful cake. I can't wait for another special occasion so I can order again!
