The Magic Garden
Very green and cool place. Great sitting area in a spacious garden. Great atmosphere especially when the weather allows us to sit outside. Evening light also makes a difference. Did not eat anything, however the menu looks very inviting. Good service and the prices for what we ordered were reasonable.

Wow, the decor was so pretty, flowers everywhere, definitely magical, I'd say.The women at the front desk was lovely, showed me to though the magical forest flowers and into the garden. She was really friendly and told me how their ordering system worked. So I sat in the walk in garden right at the back in the sun, lovely surroundings, sun shining and people laughing. Great atmosphere.I just fancied something quick, I went to the outside bar and I waited and I waited and i waited, finally it was mine turn and the guy walks away without saying a thing. At least communicate and tell me your reason. I must have waited a good 15mins just to order a glass or wine and chip..wow!!! Shocking!!Now, chips normally take about 5mins...NO!!I HAVE NEVER WAITED SO FREAKING LONG FOR CHIPS!!! I ordered them at 2.15 at got them at 3.What a joke. When I did finally get my chips, the guy said your meatballs are on their way..WHAT?? I explained to the guy that I only ordered chips nothing else.10mins he comes back to tell my halloumi side dish is on it's way... AGAIN..WHAT!!!Such a shame about this place as I was looking forward to coming here.Lack of communication, very little staff and very little knowledge and NO ORGANISATION!

A hidden gem! A go-to spot for weekends.I ordered The Classic Flatbread with Cajun Spiced Seasoned Fries. Flavourful and delicious. Presented nicely, perfect for those who love a food photo. Cocktails are worth it too. Both outdoor and indoor spaces have the prettiest decor. Such a vibe! Great for large groups and students.Lovely service, friendly and accommodating staff. All you could ask for.Vegan, vegetarian & gluten-free options are available.Instagram Links:Bar @TheMagicGardenNottsReviewed by @cesamargaux

Very beautiful & magic place indeed!Decorations seem like wonderland world.Good cocktails and food although they don’t have a lot of options but it’s understandable considering that this is supposed to be a bar.Pleasant staff!Definitely a place to go!

We had the bottomless brunch - the drinks were flowing which was great. Service was very friendly and attentive. We had a small magic show by Thomas Dixon which was a great addition to the brunch. Food tasted slightly frozen as if it had just been heated up. You can’t order drinks after the last 20 minutes which isn’t ideal, but overall a great brunch

Beautiful setting, changes scenery often with different themes. Service was slow and we had to remind them about items, but it was busy as was a Saturday evening. Would go again! Flatbread pizzas and garlic chips were delicious and large portions.

Lovely hidden away garden venue. Shame that the overpriced cocktails were almost weaker than water i tried three different ones in the group i was in and all of them barely had any taste which im guessing also meant barely any alcohol.I had already had some lovely thick strong creamy cocktails before arriving here and these were a disappointment. If i visit again i would stick with bottled drinks.

Pretty mediocre, had a right long wait for a cocktail (at one point while we were finally being served another staff member cleared our glasses away restarting the process somewhat). Cocktails were super basic, also. Outdoor bit is pretty cool / quite big

The food was amazing (tapas buffet) and it was just the right amount. The smell of food every time we walked out of the room we were in was unbelievable. The bar was never over crowded and the bar staff were quick and efficient. The outside area was beautiful and surprisingly large.

It was a balmy, sunny, lookwarm (in the sun) spring Friday afternoon/early evening visit with people from work. The place was really nice, I had been here before when in its previous life it was called Jamie's.The interior is OK, not 100 percent to my liking but we were there for drinks and company so I didn't pay much attention. Initially I resisted to like the fake candles, but after the third large glass of wine I found them really practical and safe.We didn't order any food, but saw (and smelled) what others were having, they all looked and smelled appetising. The garden is lovely, and on a hot summer day is probably the second best place to sit and drink lazily after your own garden/terrace.I know we have just left a pandemic behind (sort of, or trying to live with it) but I really wanted to pay cash and that was not an option - in fact, there are no options, pay card, end of.The service was somewhat slow, on second thoughts considering the place was far from busy it was really slow. Either that or we didn't time our next drinks order right, we should have ordered before our drinking vessels became empty. Or maybe everyone is just getting used to ordering through an app and on the other side getting used to checking the incoming orders more frequently in order to speed things up for the customers.I mean don't get me wrong I thoroughly enjoyed my time in The Magic Garden and despite the slowness of service I gave it four stars!
