Visited to purchase a dog harness as our pup kept slipping the one she had. The lady in the shop was very helpful. Had lots of options and advise. Tried several collars/harnesses on. Great service. We will defiantly visit again when we are in the area. Thank you. We now have a safe system now .

Brilliant well worth a visit selling everything you can think of especially natural dog treats eg: deer, cow, rabbit etc dogs love chewing on the bones

Well stocked shop for dogs, not as much variety for cats. I was very dissappointed in the knowledge base of the staff. I was browsing the cat section and heard a staff member say to a member of public not to pull the dog back but instead, keep on a short lead and yank up! This will not only confuse for the dog but will also cause pain and potential damage to the dogs windpipe. This advice is shocking in todays society, it is outdated and cruel and will cause unnecessary suffering.If they are not trained into upto date methods of dog behaviour they should not be giving out advice. This can cause serious harm and ruin relationships between people and there pets. They should advise them to consult a qualified behaviourist.I ended up leaving the shop as I was really upset that they are telling people to treat there dogs this way and to know that this dog is now going to have to go through this unnecessarily which is more likely to cause further behavioural problems.I really hope this post inspires the staff to look into there methods and do some research into positive association and take more care into what they are teaching people to do to ensure correct and upto date methods are advised.

What a great shop! Very friendly staff who can’t do enough to help. They offer a range of pet foods, all good quality and value for money. Highly recommended.
