This is my second time visiting the play arena and I didn't even want to come back the second time it was only as it was so close to the gym and my friends and I didn't have time to get to run around at half way and back for the school pick up so came here instead. The pricing is ridiculous if your child is under one and a non walker it's £2 but if your child is 1year 2 weeks and still a non walker you pay £5.30!!!! Absolutely ridiculous! I shouldn't have been so honest and lied about her age but never thought we would get charged such a ridiculous fee. And then in the same breath to be quizzed about if I have any food or drink in my bag and that I must not under any circumstances feed my child it is beyond me! It may be a policy of play centres but this is the first play centre I have ever attended that has enforced it and informed you before stepping through the door! Your already making money off the mums and dads that have to eat and drink your food and pay the extortionate fees to bring their child to play and yet you make them buy their child your food instead of letting them have a snack from home! The kids food was nice I'll admit but as it took a good 30 mins to arrive the kids had pretty much had a melt down as we couldn't give them any 'snacks' from our bags to keep them happy! The sensory area is very run down with a lot of toys broken and the ball pit dirty! There is obviously cleaning products on the premises as the door to the cleaning cupboard was left wide open the whole time we were there and it's bang next to the baby sensory area, that's an accident waiting to happen. A friend with an older child found a needle and thread at the bottom of the slide on our visit and then finally the safety door to exit the play arena was broken so your child 'if mobile' could easily get out and get out into the foyer and onto the car park! This place needs a massive clean up not only of the facilities but the management too! The staff were fine but the management just had the wrong attitude and too many excuses and not enough resolutions. If you can, go else where there are far nicer places and a lot less rules!

Well maintained place with great Food choices . Kids were very happy to have a great play during the rainy period . Would be five stars if they can fix the parking area.Need clear borders and foot path for pedestrians.

Place was very cold when we visited today. You can't pay by card unless you spend min £10 (even for the entry). Food is very average, pizza for kids doesn't even come with salad or veg. We wanted to join the tables as it was 7 of us but we were told we're not allowed to do it! Overall my son still had a good time but to be honest I don't feel like visiting again. Lots of nicer play centres around!

Admittedly it's been a couple or so months since I've been but I've only just got round to reviewing. When our daughter was very young we took her here a lot and she loved it.Nowadays we don't go as often but she still enjoys it when we do.The majority of times the staff have been friendly.Yes, it isn't the cheapest place but it has got a lot in there and you can stay there a while. The food isn't amazing but it ain't bad either. Not the cheapest but it's alright if you want a snack to keep you going.Decent place. Our kid likes going so that's the main thing.

This is one of the biggest soft plays we have been at. Our daughter who is almost 2 years old was very excited when she saw all the play areas and she had a lot of fun playing everywhere she could. This place is reasonably priced and the staff were very polite. With the exception of the toilets which could be maintained a little bit cleaner, It all seemed to be very clean and there was a variety of toys and play areas from infants, to children of 4-5 years old. I wish this place was in Newcastle where we live. Nonetheless, if we ever drive by Sheffield again, we will be looking forward to visit it again.

We've visited twice and my 2 year old has really enjoyed it. However I don't know if we'll go back because the policy on not bringing your own food/snacks makes it such an expensive day out. It cost over a fiver for my toddler to get in, and lunch for the three of us came to £17. On our second visit the manager was pretty rude to me because we had a bag of rice cakes on our table, no introduction of who she was, just told me off abruptly. It's a shame because the facilities there are varied and we'd happily come every week, but the food policy makes it more than £20 per visit, and what with the rudeness we experienced on this occasion, I'm not in a hurry to go back when there are other options locally.

I went here last week. Wish I hadn't bothered. Staff talking at the till, didn't acknowledge us until they'd finished talking. Even then they had no personal skills- such as Hello or welcome or how old is you little one? Expensive at £5.30 for a 2 year old.I also wish I hadn't seen 1 staff wipe their nose with the palm of hand before being served our coffee (ughh). Dry cake, stood a bit long maybe? The ones from Costco I think. Usually nice though ( so no offence to wholesalers!!)I won't be going back. It's a good space, but not as safely laid out re: security entrance/exit. 4/10

Very large but under maintained.I arrived 20m after opening and the floor was still sticky and had food on from previous day. Half the lights weren't working and the gentlemen told me they couldn't be fixed yet as engineers could only come during working hours. There were no potties or child seats in the toilets.I've been to soft plays up and down the country and at £5.30 for entrance I would expect a premium soft play. Or certainly somewhere clean and maintained.Another downside was that there were signs advising that adults were only allowed on the play equipment to rescue. My daughter is very shy and I always go on with her. Every other softplay I've been to has encouraged adults to go on with their children. It's a big place with lots of potential but needs some cleaning and refurbishment to get return customers

If you love your children, don't bring them here! Seriously, don't!It's dirty, cold, dark (half of the lights were off), grubby, lots of the equipment was broken or patched up, and the padding has worn completely away in places. It's a disaster waiting to happen. And it's expensive too: £17 for three children, we wish we hadn't bothered!

My child's favourite play centre even though it's a bit of a drive from my house. The play area is great and next to the outdoor park there was a bouncy castle and BBQ today as well. The food is good but a bit pricey. There is a free cash machine. The facilities were clean and the place is very spacious.Overall a great play centre.
