Lovely pub with good beer. The staff are brilliant and it's only a stones throw for me. Just make sure you don't sit in the locals seat or you get daggers all night till you feel like you have to leave.

Called in due to bring our motorhome the the factory opposite. Ian mentioned that we didn't have to walk far for a good pint, and he wasn't wrong. We called in wondering if we had used the right or the wrong door. After entering the bar area we were greeted by the gaffer in a very summery Hawian shirt, the local all turned and greeted us with a warm a d friendly welcome. If you like trying different ales you won't be disappointed, plenty to select from, I had two and a half pints of different beers, all which were quite drinkable. If your expecting a modern dining pub you'll be a little disappointed, if you like your beers you'll be overjoyed. Would definitely call in again on my next journey to Stoke.
