Great fog friendly resteraunt, the food was exceptionally good, very friendly staff couldn't do enough to help, the muscles were very good highly recommended.The local beer on tap was also well worth a try.If you like sea food and are in Teigmouth this is well worth a visit, they do have other dishes and the stake was also excellent cooked medium rare as requested.

As a regular visitor to Teignmouth we look for places to have breakfast and this is 1 of my favourite.The full breakfast is really good definitely recommend for a hungry person.**UPDATE**5 starsI called in on a Sunday and had the roast pork dinner. It was one of the best roast pork dinners I have ever had. The pork was perfectly cooked, with crispy crackling and juicy meat. The seasonal vegetables were also excellent, and the cauliflower cheese was creamy and delicious. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious Sunday roast.Here are some specific things that I liked about the roast pork dinner:The pork was perfectly cooked, with crispy crackling and juicy meat.The seasonal vegetables were well-chosen and cooked to perfection.The cauliflower cheese was creamy and delicious.The portion size was generous.The staff were friendly and attentive.I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying Sunday roast.

I've never been to teingmouth and was blown away by it's colourful surroundings, we are at the captains table which sits just metres from the beach. I had fish and chips and my other had burger, the food was delicious there were tables reserved, but we were in at 6 at got a table overlooking the sea, beautiful. Loved the service friendly and prompt and huge thanks from the staff when we left. I will certainly be going back

Right on sea front. Love watching the waves whilst eating good food. Food cooked fresh and served hot. Food tastyTaken a star off as crisps tasted stale and soft. This was the lunchtime menu.

Surprised by all the negative reviews, we booked a table online and went for an evening meal, we had a much better experience than we had expected.There was a large birthday party, which was quite noisy, however after a few minutes sat at our table this soon became background noise.The staff were very friendly and welcoming, services was good, and the food was very good. We had the humus and pitta starter which was very tasty and a great portion size. Followed by the seafood platter, this again was a good size with a good range of fish, nice portion of tasty salad along with a good amount of bread.For desert we had a couple of scoops of ice cream.We would definitely visit again, I guess you have to consider that this is a fairly new establishment, finding its feet in a small seaside town in Devon, where fast service and updating google opening times is not a priority. It’s also not a Michelin Guide restaurant.

We went for an evening meal, it was very busy so the service wasn't the quickest and it was obvious that the staff were new but they were really nice and tried their best under the circumstances. The food though was amazing! I wasn't expecting much as places that are open all day normally skimp on quality, but everything tasted amazing, I had the surf and turf and the steak just melted in my mouth. We will definitely be going back.We had previously been for breakfast and the food was equally as good.

I’ve been excited to come here since it’s reopening and wow! The interior is very well designed, the food was cooked to perfection (we had the seafood platter and highly recommend), the service was wonderful and all the staff were welcoming and friendly. The view adds to the ambience (even if it was a rainy day) and I cannot wait to come back again!

Food was great, good quality. Recommend the prawn and smoked marie rose sandwiches on granary bloomer and the classic burger with fries & pink slaw. Ordered at the bar, food was delivered to our table on the promenade. What a fantastic view when enjoying a good meal. This place is a real asset to the promenade and we will be back for more.
