The view is very great especially if you are lucky to see the ferry arrive and the staff are very friendly

It's probably the most sheltered marina in Plymouth, and probably the quietest. Exit the marina and you are almost immediately in Plymouth Sound. And an easy walk Plymouth city centre and the railway station. How convenient is that? Nearly new, lovely shower block.Don't be put off by the proximity of the Brittany Ferry. Most of the time you are completely unaware of it, and working around the arrival and departure times (you may not enter or exit the marina while the ferry is docking or leaving) is not onerous. Also don't be put off by the proximity of Plymouth's Union Street. Whatever dodgy going on happens in Union Street never gets to the marina. So I love it there. The negatives are:Firstly, there is not much there. No chandler, no fuel, the office does sell bottled gas but is only staffed during working hours. More recently the office is only staffed about half the day. There is an eatery, The Dock"

A worthy place to visit. The cafe/restaurant is well designed and the food is delicious either inside or outside. Is welcoming of dogs on leads, and show consideration and kindness to dogs with free treats and watering basins. The views are of King Point Marina view their floor to ceiling windows. On a sunny day, as in our visit, the views speak volumes themselves. Prices are very reasonable, their staff friendly and polite but more importantly for me...respectful. Parking is FREE, but be sure to park in the correct area. No ticket required. A great place for breakfast, lunch or evening meal for one, two or a family. I dare you to find anything but nice things to say about your visit here.

Nice, spent like eight hours waiting for the ferry, granted I was that early, but because of my baggage I had no chance to go to the restaurant, and the Lil Cafe thing inside only opens just before the boat gets there, like two hours or so. Still, cozy, played my guitar, and the room has some nice accoustics for music. Bathrooms we're super clean, and over all staff was friendly. The machine selection for food sucked, I had to subsist on crisps.Pro tipIf you get there really early, bring your own food. Also, I had the room all to myself, it was kind of nice. Yay!Would have given five stars if there had been food.

Lovely place! Princess Yachts are stunning, they own a portion of the Dock so it's quality spending a bit of time there. And for a break the Dock" is a great place to wind down for a break or after work. Friendly staff and good coffee

Prices are competitive, very well sheltered and great position for access to the sound. Facilities are modern but indifferently looked after. Parking can be a challenge although I think that is being sorted. Let down mostly by disinterested staff, who even when they are around are not engaged and don't seem to know (or care) much about what a marina does. I've little faith that if weather was bad or there was a problem with my boat they would do anything about it. I cancelled my berth when, on visiting office to renew for another year, the staff member there basically couldn't be bothered and told me to telephone another office. Could be so much better..... If you are looking for a berth in Plymouth, pay a little more and go elsewhere.
